make zombies attack blocks more often - possible?

So, A lot of players on my server run the same strategy: they have a ramp, a corridor (bridge style) and some traps.

 

Zombies will keep trying to climb it and falling or dying to traps but what bothers me is that some of them just stay under the players but dont hit the pillars. Biggest issue is that all the demolition guys spawned did this, they didnt explode, they didnt attack blocks, they just stayed below the playes near the pillars, with the run animation but not going anywhere.

 

Is is moddable to make it so zombies change priority to blocks? maybe after some seconds without reaching the player successfully? I don't expect anything perfect but an improvement in some way

Edit the AIpath property <property name="AIPathCostScale" value=".9, 1"/> The values are min/Max, and lower values mean dumber zeds who brute force toward the target rather than pathing around. best to have a mix of smart and dumb to foil defenses.
