bramse
Problem: If Litenetlib is not disabled (hosted by nitrado.net) I am disconnected and returned to the main menu. This occurs every time I log in within 90 seconds. I can connect fine if we disable Litenetlib and remove steamnetworking from the disabled protocols. Using steamnetworking however produces a well documented lag issue. A fix that gets either protocol working would be fine. Serverconfig.xml - https://pastebin.com/NY7uUzPQ (passwords have been redacted to XXXXX) I have viewed other threads and I have tried the following; Disabling IPV6 (on my modem and local machine) Disabling my firewall Changing protocol (if I disable both steamnetworking AND litenetlib I cannot connect at all, disabling steamnetworking but not litenetlib produces the disconnects to main menu, and disabling litenetlib but not steamnetworking results in MASSIVE lag spikes) disabling eac (I never used it to begin with) uninstalling and reinstalling the client I am hardwired via ethernet into my modem using cat6 System specs; i5 4690 3.5ghz quadcore, 16gb DDR3, Geforce GTX 1050 Ti. SylenThunder
Removing LiteNetLib has an impact on increasing network latency, and degrading server performance. Sure it temp fixes your login issue, but overall is bad for everyone else. Did you try it with no disabled protocols?
Jugginator
I'm by far a video game server expert, but maybe see if you're behind on .net framework updates? 4.7.1 is the current, check Windows update to see.

DMPlayin
A fix that gets either protocol working would be fine. If you ever find a solution then do please let me know. We have exactly the same issue with the second computer on the same LAN. If LiteNetLib is enabled, frequent "Time Out" drops to the main menu but with SteamNetworking enabled, no disconnects at all. There is the occasional lag spike but as it's LAN, it's never too long and much, much better than frequent crashes to the menu.
bramse
Yes, with no disabled protocols I am disconnected by litenetlib, basically disabling steamnetworking has no effect (as far as I can tell, because I'm not sure if the lag is present because I am disconnected so quickly). Further down someone suggested updating my .net framework so I will try that next and post an update.
Jugginator
.net 4.8 has been out since April. I forgot lol. I was a little tipsy last night at the time Another note, running firewalls / AV while getting this issue?
