Harry's New Calibers

 

Features:

1: 2 new skill types called "Ammunition smithing" and "Gun smithing" (Unlocks the new calibers, receivers, barrels and conversion kits)

 

2: 48 NEW CALIBERS and 26 NEW TURRETS added to the game

 

3: Each Caliber has its own effect on the gun that uses it, such as RPM, RECOIL, WEAPON HANDLING, MAG SIZE (and i would hope so) DAMAGE

(RPM, RECOIL, WEAPON HANDLING, MAG SIZE,DAMAGE)

 

5: Trader's inventory has been increased to 110 items (game stock setting is 80) to accommodate new calibers

 

6: New Turrets have a MK-2 Model with improved stats!

HOW TO UNINSTALL THIS MOD:

1-YOU MUST REMOVE ALL ASSETS FROM MY MOD SUCH AS AMMO, CONVERTED GUNS, BARRELS, RECEIVERS, GUN FRAMES AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT CAME FROM MY MOD, PRESS F1 TYPE IN "CM" THEN YOU CAN DELETE THE ITEMS, MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR WORLD!

 

2-DON'T WORRY ABOUT PERKS, THEY WILL AUTO-DELETE THEM SELF'S IF NEEDED

I seen this & seen that you had an M1 Garand which is my all time Fav gun But when viewing it in CM its a pic of a 9mm pistol that then errors if grabbed can you check to see if its doing it on your end cos ive no idea if weapons can clash in modlets if loading multiple guns as I have my own custom prefabs in a 9mm & the Punisher which is the Desert Eagle...

 

I dont get any errors in console till I try to grab the gun itself

HA Thats just me trying to port in weapons, the gun already has custom animations sounds ect. but i still learning unity so dont expect that mod to come out soon. Thats why its broken

BTW, ignore anyone complaining there are too many ammo types when looting. They have zero sense of immersion and have obviously never bought their own ammo, qualified at a range or been around a reloading press. The "Monty Haul"-fest of loot that is A18 NEEDS more diversity to thin out the value a bit without losing loot.

I fully agree with you on that, if there was a zombie apocalypse in real life you would find all types of crazy ammo. Hell in my house alone you'll find 9 different types of ammo, From early 1900 to modern!

 

For me... the more calibers, the better.

 

Also i see you mention gun mods and trust me im trying to add my damn gun mod in. Its a M1 Garand with full animations. Tho on the version you guys have access to (meaning my new calibers mod) you cant spawn the model in because it needs the fixes that i have made. BUT even then i still need to position the model to the player, which is a absolute pain because there is no guide where to position the gun in unity so that player in-game is holding it. As of right now the gun floats above the player in-game, animation arent hooked up because i dont know how to hook them up so yaaa.

 

Doing joint project idk, never thought about it.

 

Today i was messing around with bullet drop, which did work great! BUT from some reason when ever i had a fullauto gun it would shoot all the bullets at once. Just another day modding 7 Days To Die i guess. also depending on how many bullets the gun hold, the bullets would appear above the gun stocked on eachother (like a bow and its arrow, but the arrows are stacked above eachother).

 

So ya fun stuff
