Zindran
This is more of a thing directed at making FPS for lower end PC's better, more so since I'm one of those people that get a decent 25-30fps (which is fine) indoors and when looking at the sky then below 10 outdoors or looking at the ground (outside) with all graphics on the lowest settings and occlusion on. The suggestion(s) are: (1) Add an option to disable animations from grass/trees. (2) Add options to disable particles from things such as breaking a block or turning on something such as a Furnace or Campfire (3) Not sure if this is possible, but make it so when we look at the outside ground it acts as if you're looking at a normal wall (player built, etc.) because I have the feeling that it's currently acting as a transparent block would, which can cause substantial FPS drops. Chronosphere
or they could just fix the issue with zombies taking up 10 fps per skull. that is also reality.
Bubo
(1) Add an option to disable animations from grass/trees. This is in the biomes.xml yes? I've been trying to figure this out. What's the edit to stop the sway to grass and trees? Thanks
Jugginator
Yeah I gotta admit the heavy grassy areas are taxing on me sometimes. Swapping them out for a simple 2d model will do well. It'll prob look better than the 3 pixel 3d model that still animates lol
Bubo
Also there's a Disable Falling Trees Modlet by Valmar/stallionsden, which may help a bit.

The suggestion itself is to add an option in the options menu so it's easy to enable/disable.
