Red nights every night? Constant zombie attacks every night?

Since a18, I'm getting red skies every night. I'm also getting zombies hitting the house like right when the night turns over every evening. Trying to introduce a friend to the game, and he's p annoyed that every single morning, no matter what we do, we have to just rebuild a bunch of torn up walls. I've got over 400 hours on this game, and I've never had this much of an issue.

Went through my settings, and horde night is set to 7 days. On non horde nights, the zombs don't seem to be tracking-- I can hide outside successfully. Our heat isn't high, we have no lighting up, and my only building progress has been laying a few frames for a balcony. It's all super small, and we're only on day 9.

Any idea why this is like this? If we have to deal with constant zombies, that sucks but fine. But the red sky every night makes the dusk hours pretty much non functional because of the pitch black shadows a good 2 hours before night. The old night lighting setups/sunsets were really pretty, super want them back.

Sounds to me like your generating a bunch of heat which is attracting them. Just about everything you do as well as all non-electric light sources generate it.
