Also, are you tired of constant screamer spawns? Use them to your advantage! 1. get your engineering to at least lvl 3, ideally 5. 2. build plenty of fire barrels in the field. Position yourself in the middle and put blade traps to all entrances toward you. Make sure that screamer can get close enough to spawn her friends 3. Lay back and enjoy your new xp farm 4........ 5. Build a gauntlet with 20 blade traps and you have quite a bit of time before repairing. Advanced engineering gives you 50% xp per kill from your electric traps. You need a) ammo (be it 9mm, shotty or iron darts) b) bladetraps which trigger demoliter which completely destroy them (also cops bllow up before, depending on difficulty also destroying them) and you always need gas. I can get more xp just running into a T5 tower with a pistol or a sledgehammer. And on top of the xp I get more xp. All that 50% xp is is not completely punish the player for playing a towerdefense game as a towerdefense! Everyone that says "its free xp" is a mor** and does not grasp that building a decent defense is also work that should earn xp. I collected the ressources. I crafted the parts. I crafted the trap. I spent 20 points in the intellect tree. I use gas constantly. I spent ages setting up the defenses right. I have to repair it every 50 zombies, sometimes after one cop. Demolishers (a guess based on how much dmg their explosion does) destroy the traps outright. I have crafted ammo. While I did all that you were out looting awesome weapons and ammo, racking up even more xp. Don't complain that I get a small xp reward for doing all that! Because there were lots of complaints about people building elaborate base setups using traps to kill the blood moon hordes, and getting nothing out of it but a large repair bill. The fact that all of the traps require either ammunition or degrade with use keeps this from being something that can really be abused much. As Viktor mentioned, you do sink resources into it. WIthout it I would never build any trap except for electric fence, because XP is the king now. No XP no progress.
