Hi War3zuk, ive been attempting to install your mod on a server for the past 3 days and have been met with several issues. I downloaded and installed your mod on my computer and can make a map and play and works great via the 7d2d mod launcher. From there its downhill. I copy the mods folder onto my server. Then take the maps from the mods folder and put them in /Data/Worlds and edit my config file with it loading Game World: OfficialServerMapAIO and World Seed: OfficialServerMapAIO just in case. One of two things has happened after several restarts. Last night i got the server up, but when logging in i fell through the ground forever. Today im getting prefab errors. a lot of them. Are the files in the wrong place? what am i doing wrong? Any help would be seriously apprecaited.

 

 

EDIT: I figured it out. The downloads didnt include the prefabs (or i just didnt look hard enough for them) but once i found them on the github download and put them on the server it worked.

I started out as a "Miner" where I read crucible schematic but now after couple of days I cant craft the crucible - It says I need a perk.

On the other hand I bought a lockpick perk, but I also can't craft them since it says I require a book from Heist series.

So is this double lock intended or is just a minor bug?


EDIT: I just noticed all of these can be crafted normally in the vanilla workbench, I tried to craft these in HD workbench - where is doesn't work.

I think there is a bug in the Mechanic quests in that when you're making the Parts to complete the bicycle, minibike, motorcycle and 4x4 you dont get the steps completed unless you are "using" the workbench while they complete.

 

PS anyone need a Bicycle, a minibike handle bars and a 4x4 truck accessories :D

Hey guys,

 

I really love what this mod looks like, but i'm getting a lot of errors when using the 7D2D launcher, i'm guessing this is not a common issue since i have not seen others post about it.  The start game button gives and error and cant progress past the title screen. any ideas what i'm missing or doing wrong??

Good Day War3zuk

It has been awhile since my last post .. But I'm playing version 3.05 and it does play better and Liking the 4 Trader Post (done good on that)

 

But I have a question .. Why does your Titanium Blocks only have 15000 Hit Points, when all others that are in Games for 7d2d are between 22000 - 25000 .. which makes more sense considering the cost to make and upgrading it takes to get there.

Just wondering if there was a reason, other than that's what you put them at ... the Old Gamer .. 😌

Personally .. I think you might have gotten a bad install .. uninstall and do it again. 

 

But also a lot of mods causes errors .. most are just a mod and 7d2d issues and the game will run fine. But yours sound to be more serious,  that is why I said Reinstall .. But make sure you do clean mod install and get rid of the first set of files which are normally saved .. depending on you set-up.

ALSO .. did you Pre-Sync the mod and give it time tp load correctly.

The Launcher Version has had Edits, Along with the main AIO for this Patch to transition to Alpha 19.. This is the last patch applied & will probably be the last on the AIO

hi there, love the mod its great fun thank you for the effort and work put in!.  quick simple question about the pump jack, does it build up loot over time? for example I am thinking it gets random starter loot that grows in size the longer its left unopened. or is it a random amount of loot that stays the same even if left for hours in the barrel unchecked?.

No, Pumpjack grabs certain loot from a list each time so its different so loot once full.. Not sure on the Modlets as ive never used the launcher I grab them from the Github link as I noticed before the Launcher doesnt update quick enough when there updated..

Hey War3zuk,

 

I seem to be confused.  I've downloaded your Zombie Tramps and I dropped them into the mod folder, but I can't figure out how to use them or find any information on how to do it.  Are you able to give me any help on how we use them?

I really love this mod. But today I have a little problem: after updating (with modlauncher) from 3.06 to 3.07 I cannot open any storage chest anymore, I even cannot place a simple storage chest. Error: "object instance not set to a reference...". unfortunately I already deleted the mod for reinstall, so the log files are gone... At start there was one error message referencing like "qc_gold_loot" AFAIR. Sorry for the missing logs and error messages, but was in a kind of hurry.

 

edit: after deleting the mod in modlauncher and reinstalling I can open my beloved chests again. Perhaps others can profit from this

**IMPORTANT NOTE** If you have OLD files on the Launcher YOU will get errors as all the Models have been updated to Unity 2019.1 Delete Temp & Mods folder, Resync

 

Just took a whole day to take every single Modlet & load them all up at the same time, I have removed 3 Modlets & combined them properly.. Ive updated Every model to the new Unity 2019.1 Models So the modlets will now all load together & with the newest model files...

 

Please post issues on the modlets here as im not a robot so expect the odd mistake.. After all ive converted all 121 Models... Resyncing all the files as of now 17:03pm

 

If you DO NOT delete your old modlet files dont expect your games to load..

I am interested in creating a Dedi Server as well. Where did you grab these files? The GitHub downloads confuse me...I did use github desktop and grabbed the 2 gits...now what? Also has anyone created some maps for this mod?

I'm really digging my own grave every now and then, but I find out new facts that way :). Just wanted to share in case anyone runs into the same traps. Updating from 3.07 to 3.09 I pressed the button "delete complete" in mod launcher, Installed freshly and ... the game didn't find the save games anymore. So I guess the right way of doing a clean install and keeping existing saves is pressing "delete downloads" in modlauncher. Everyday learning something new. FYI I fixed it by editing the file "SaveConfig.xml" in the game directory and providing the correct path.

 

Running into some errors, some self created some not, but I assure you: this mod is worth every second of my time!

Good Day War3zuk

 

I'm not sure what you did to your Mod from Version 3.05 to 3.08 on the launcher .. But I lost 2 saved games, that neither would load due to the Null Reference error .. it ran for a full screen roll+, both were on the AI0 map

I tried to start a New Game and it was loading with errors in reference to loot item numbers and a few Null reference errors also and after a 15minute wait in 7d2d window for it to do anything. I just had to exit with _ctrl - alt - delete and got a message, not responding. 

 

I will try to do a full reload of mod one more time, but thought I should let you know that v 3.08 has issues.

 

But it was running fine with v 3.05

 

EDIT >> Ok Reloaded the game .. now it is v 3.09 .. I used my own map which has the combo pack in it and is a 10k.

But the question is now ... Do we need to make a map using the RandomGen in the game for your combo pack and custom mods so they will auto load into game map or do we need to add you custom to the prefab list .. this part has me a bit confused. Sorry 73 yr old brain not working well today and a bit tired. 😌

Now .. Back to the question .. I'm I suppose to put you RWGmixer file into game file .. OR is it suppose to be auto conversion, ??

 

If auto it doesn't work .. I made a map and a 1/2 hour later _ it loaded to a Vanilla world .. I will use your mod on my maps that already have combo pack on them and just loose out on your customs builds.

Those are the 2 main old worlds...

 

I had no choice but to upgrade all the models cos if I didnt id end up having trouble when alpha 19 drops which would of ment a full mod split which id prefer not to do , as for the worlds they went ages ago cos RWG works with all the new prefabs which is 20 new, 50 edited, 5 fixed 2 removed.. I couldnt keep making custom maps & then having to keep up with extra files.. As for the Errors, sorry but if your getting errors then its something uve done wrong as the Mod is tested in SP & online on my Dedi before uploading...

I get 2 issues otherwise it works.
