bjurney
Generally you are encouraged to start a new saved game with any update they put out. Can you use your old save? Yes. Will it work without any bugs or glitches? Maybe, maybe not. When Alpha 17 came out and they released 17.1, there were a few changes with the perks. I was able to load the game fine and still play, but there were a few things that were messed up enough that it wasn't worth the effort to continue playing that save so I started a new one. unholyjoe
I'll try to explain it again... the build number is just for example here... if you are testing a18b199 and that is an RC (release candidate) and all goes as plan... then it can be deemed a stable... the ONLY thing that changes is the name taking it out of experimental. the stable version will be the last experimental version and thus if you had a particular map you were playing in that last build.. it will be no different in the new stable. i hope this helps.
