Damocles
The easiest and most reliable thing to do is to note down the items you found, and then spawn them in via the creative menu. Plus about what resources you have used for your base.

I know the past Alpha we could plot over our level 200 characters with skilled and gears over to the "New map" but not sure its is been removed in A18? Whorhay
How is transferring a leveled up and fully loaded char into a new world not cheating when using the creative menu to accomplish it is? If anything using the creative menu and debug tools is the best way to accomplish a non-cheaty transfer. Use the creative menus to transfer all your items, build your replica base, grant yourself the exp to level up to where you were. Then roll the clock forward to the day and time you were on in your original world. You'll still have the advantage of being in a world that hasn't been looted at all yet, but that is about the cleanest way I can think of the accomplish what you asked for. By not cheating for enable creative mode mean i tend to not open the command as imagine the command was not existing, if i would to open the commands to spawn something i need "i must as well spawn myself dev tools to kill everything". Let just put the creative mode aside while we just transfer our time consumed character into the new world is like what we get is what we use which i can still progress the game in the new world to find what is left out.. Its very different from making in creative mode and transferring of character
Synvastian
There is no difference, you just don't have self control otherwise you could just spawn the stuff in, give yourself the exp you need, and then turn it off again...self control keeps you from going further
FA_Q2
The simple answer is no, you cant. The CM is the simplest work around to get around this. Aside from that you are stuck with starting a new game.
