Sjustus548
On my map we've been unable to locate a desert so we can get oil shale for gas. Due to this we have been taking apart a lot of cars to supply our growing need for gas. This has caused us to come in to possession of a large supply of engines. We currently have around 30 in storage but have no use for them. The traders will only purchase a maximum of three every three days so we are gaining engines faster than we can get rid of them. We already have all the vehicles we are wanting to use and are unable to manufacture power tools as of yet, we do have the engines already set aside to be used in those recipes however. Should we just start tossing them out or does anyone know of a use for them?
Jihh
Too many engines is just a sign for too few blade traps.
Sjustus548
Too many engines is just a sign for too few blade traps. Not sure I'm following what you mean. What do blade traps have to do with engines?
Jihh
You need engines (or another source of energy) too use blade traps. So if you would use more blade traps, you would have a use for those engines. And there are no such thing as too many blade traps, they are funny. Auger
You can use 6 engines per generator bank. So if your running a large base you might need 2 or 3 generators banks or more. Still engine drops are a lot higher then I've seen in any alpha

At least until the demolisher start showing up.

bobrpggamer
In A17 I use them to make Auger and Chainsaws for sale at traders for 4500, I have not played A18 and I guess the crafting is different and actually sounds better from what I hear about schematics and parts, making it less level up and more about gameplay. I am going to wait on A18 (like I have said so many time and is getting old I guess) but beside some common complaints it does sound like some of the changes are going to be fun to look forward to. All I have to do is clean up my bedroom and get on my PC to get back into the game, I cannot play in a room that is not clean and I have been really putting it off and that was too much information I know. No I do not live with my mom.

myrkana
you can turn em into mehcanical parts if you need. I sell any past about 8 to the traders, keeping 8 at all time sfor any needs.
