Show the range of possible stats for items

Recommended Posts

Now that items can spawn with variable stats it would be nice if we had a way to know how good of a roll we got.

For instance if a gun can spawn with damage between 80-100 and we got a 99 it would be nice it we had a visual to know its almost max possible damage

You minmaxers don't need to know everything. =P

You either find a better one or you don't.

We demand the numbers along with the full probability break down for every possible combination of stats to drop. =P

Imagine going into Home Depot or Lowe's (or whatever hardware store folks across 'the Pond' shop at) and having the 'Probability of Break Down' included on the display labels for tools.

"Ryobi Cordless Drill $74.95 - up to 3000 hours of use with only a 53% Probability of Break Down (easily repairable with duct tape and a forged bar of iron)"

There is no info on probability of breakdown. It's more akin to if someone tells you that drill has 12 lb's of torque how do you know its good? Most sites show info like this

Shows the drill and the power behind it.

This was my point, exactly. :-)

It's also kind of important because if your going to craft items now that they have random rolls you have no way to know if you just crafted the best or worst possible item you could. The only way you could tell would be to keep wasting time and resources constantly crafting more never knowing if your able to create a better item or not.

Perhaps something as simple as an icon showing if a stat had a max roll could solve that, so you don't waste your time trying to do better never knowing if you've already created or found the best you can.
