Sirilion, if it's not hard to you can you please make additional modlet that brings back the toolbelt numbers and background (like 19.5) ? Without it toolbelt feels kinda uncompleted....?! x)

If you do i will be really gratefull :3

I will consider the numbers but other than that the toolbelt design is kinda final.

That’s a “thing” that happens on multiplayer. Not really a bug or anything, just the way it is. My guess it happens since the menu no longer pause the game on multiplayer. I will look into some tricks to “solve” it.

Pushed updates for: SMXlib & SMXui

ChangeLog - SMXlib:

  • FIXED: Party health bar color reference was not working.

 

ChangeLog - SMXui:

  • ADDED: Set hardcoded sprites to fit theme.
  • ADDED: Dedicated mod slots in ItemInfo.
  • FIXED: Removed container/vehicle slot lock. (Didn't work properly)
  • FIXED: Cut third forge slot to optional modlet. Install ZMXuiCPTFS to retain third smelting slot.
  • FIXED: Small general adjustments.

 

Added new modlets to the mix:

  • ZMXhudCPOCBPR: Compatibility patch that converts OCB Pin Recipes to SMX art style. Does NOT add OCB Pin Recipes, you must install that separate.
  • ZMXuiCPBBMxl: New BBM, 90 slots.
  • ZMXuiCPBBMxxl: New BBM, 120 slots.
  • ZMXuiCPTFS: Adds the third smelting slot to the forge in SMXui.

Bro, for most of the mods, I am facing a few issues. 

The options window from main menu does not open. Would appreciate if somebody can educate me how to set controls from outside the game or where the keyboard control settings are stored.

Secondly, I can see only white shade and shining on POIs from a distance and can see what exactly is the building only if I go close to it.

 

What can be the issue ? This is for Alpha 19.4 and Win 10.

Well, the issue with the options window not opening can be SMX related and it comes down to which version of the mod you are running.

 

When it comes to the poi thing that is not SMX related.

I’m not sure where they are stored as I’ve never had to check for that. You just need to either find the correct SMXmenu for your game version or remove it entirely.

Heya, first of al props on all the good work! Sadly enough I've been getting an error when opening the forge. Something with updating action window workstation_forge. When I open the forge the console pops up with that message and my backpack doesn't show up. I do have a bunch of mods (basically all of your mods) and some others that add mining stuff from meancloud. Any help on fixing this?

Sounds like you added a mod that is not compatible. Any mod that adds new mining materials will not work with SMXui.

 

Nothing I can help with at the moment as I am really tied down on different project and I simply don’t have time. So unless the other author wants to make it compatible you will just have to choose which one you want to use.

There is no guarantee that there will be a patch for that particular mod from my end though. I’ve stopped making patches for for things that I don’t use myself.

 

If I was to make a patch for every mod that doesn’t work with SMX I wouldn’t get anything else done 🙈

 

That said. Maybe the author of the other mod or another mod author could make it. CPs for SMX doesn’t have to be done by me exclusively, anyone can make one.

Not yet no, we are working on a much better version. Underneath that screenshot it states it is not available for A20.

I don't know how much this may be affecting others, but for me I can only use the compass in dark areas. It looks beautiful and clean without a black or colored background, but I simply cannot see it outdoors against the sky most of the time. I find myself constantly looking at the darker ground or trying to find a tree to go up against just so I can see the compass clearly. Its the only criticism I even have of this UI though so obviously it's not a deal breaker or anything, but it sure is a nuisance on those beautiful sunny days:) Is there any chance we could get a small optional modlet to add a shaded background to the compass if its not too much of a bother? Thank you much for all of your work either way.

There is already one in the files. It is just deactivated so if you edit windows.xml in SMXhud you will be able to turn it back on.

  • ADDED: Color references for scrollable inventory assets.

  • ADDED: Code for scrollable inventory adaptation.
  • FIXED: Mouseover colors for buff entries.

 

Added a new modlets to the mix:

  • ZMXuiCPBBM: New BBM, 100 slots scrollable. 100 slots backpack, same UI footprint as the vanilla 45 slot backpack.

No, seems I forgot that one when I updated all the color references. Find the color attribute and change it to black, keep the brackets. That should fix it for now.
