relu
the hatch/ladder with the tunnel. if i close the hatch the tunnel is visible. if i add dirt it will be uglier. it is possible that the door to fit in the tunnel and not rotated 45° ? Gamida
You do need one more ladder in shaft though before adding you hatch so it is on top of hole. There will be those little opening on sides of hatch. That is because of the way the blocks work I guess. I usually just make a 3x3 block of wood frames with the hatch in center (no frame in center of course). That makes it look neater
relu
ladder is also on the square corner, i want it to on an a side.
relu
yeah, thank you for your answers. i thought there's a easier way, didn't want to dig that much
Gamida
Not that much digging. You only need to dig out the 8 blocks around your shaft. Then add the ladder all way to top like in pic. I always try to make sure my hatch opens away from my ladder. That is just my personal preference though.
SylenThunder
Yeah, the ground blocks are shaped differently. You'll need to surround it with regular blocks to get it square. That's only 4 more holes. Edit: Ninjaed by Gamida with a picture. Although I don't dig the corners, and will just put a wood fence down on top of them. relu
yeah but if i can have one square aligned with ground blocks, i can plant something around it and will be hard to see..
