I rent the server and I have all the logs with the pastebin links. I see a timeout from both logs on the player's account. The player states "... nothing, just freezes for a few seconds then back to main menu." They've verified, reinstalled, and added to AVG exceptions folder. They've played on one other server with no issue for 20 min and stated they've been able to play this long on my server "... once in awhile I can make it that long." They've never played the game on single player. They've lowered settings. Their system specs: OS – win 7 64 bit (6.1 build 7601) GPU – GTX780 4gb CPU - I7 4770k @ 3.50Ghz Ram – 8gb The server has 18 slots, recently had 2 – 6 players at a time. We play PVE and mostly play close together. I have made some small xml changes, some through the modlets, a bit through server host interface, a lttle directly. Ram use sits right around 50-60%. and cpu < 10%. The server resets daily. I've seen some stuff about disabling I'm iffy about posting full server logs, and if I do I'd like to do it in Bug Reports, appropriately, but wasn't sure I needed to take it that far. Players who have low hardware but try to connect to the 10,000x10,000 pixil maps tend to timeout before they can finish loading from the server and as such, you must double the normal time the server has before timeout occurs. Players who have low hardware but try to connect to the 10,000x10,000 pixil maps tend to timeout before they can finish loading from the server and as such, you must double the normal time the server has before timeout occurs. Ofc, other posts above also answered the question well with disabling lithub Actually the reason the players with low hardware have an issue downloading large maps is because they run out of RAM to process the map load.
