canadianbluebeer Posted July 29, 2019 Share Posted July 29, 2019 It's kind of a mess. I was fiddling with the numbers rwgmixer and got up to 100 traders on a map. Wee bit of overkill. (fun, but..) Was trying to get larger numbers for a 16k map. got 23 on 16k, 100 on 8k. um... if you change the numbers a bit, getting 10-25 is not bad. Too many and then they cluster. Roland would say that until you find yourself running 3-5km to a trader at 1 on a above normal diff server So will a see name always generate the same map and same number of prefabs and traders? I wasn't trying for 100, I was trying to up the number for a 16k map, where 5 isn't enough. 5-10 for 8 would be fine, but wanted 15ish for the 16k map. well, 15-20. 16k gen is messed up. (we know that) 100 was just amusing. Finding a cluster of 5 of the fort style traders in a cluster on day 1? 2 munition boxes, and the rest of the boxes/loot at those and you get a buncha goodies to start. Amusing.
