Belgeranrg
Is there a way to adjust headshot damage per item Like an alpha 16.4? It looks as if that value has depreciated in the most recent update of 17.4. Or am I really reduced to adjusting the headshot perk in the progression.XMLTo overhaul all head shots? Let me add that what I'm trying to do is make headshots 100% lethal. I've read somewhere that if you set the dismemberment chance to 100% and remove the headshot perk that might work but I think I want to make it part of the perk with a 20% increase in damage each level but 100% crit on the head from the get go... any ideas? bdubyah
If headshots are always insta-kills, do you really need the damage increase for each level? That's why the perk usually gets removed in this case. Makes it kinda useless. Or did you mean something else?
Belgeranrg
I suppose I wanted headshots to do way more damage up to being OHK when at level 5 but what you say makes sense. Thank you.
bdubyah
That's basically what the Headshot perk does. Level 1 adds 20% bonus, up to 100% at level 5. Dismemberment goes from 5% to 45%, though it is a base_add so I guess it can vary a bit depending on what ammo you are using. You could always just tweak these to your liking. Have it so level 5 is whatever damage % and 100% dismemberment.
Belgeranrg
Thanks, thats a little more what I had in mind... So that by the time you invested in the Headshot perk to level 5 you can have 100% lethal headshots. Thank you
