tanuhh Posted June 14, 2019 Share Posted June 14, 2019 Me and a few friends recently got our own hosted dedicated server so we don't have to wait for one guy to be online to play. Anyway, i'm trying to install mods onto it and i'm having some trouble. I put the Mods folder in the "Main" directory and not inside any other folders (i'll include a picture). I'm successfully connecting via FTP to the dedicated server to put the mods in that folder. The problem is when i then start the server it just hangs up and gives me lines of red errors. I tried with the Farming Mod specifically as well as a few others. Any advice or are they just mods that are broken? Also, someone told me they read that players also need to download the mods into their specific game files to use them on the server as well. Is that the case? SylenThunder Posted June 15, 2019 Share Posted June 15, 2019 Whether they need to DL the mods depends entirely on what kinds of mods you're using.
