Mining vs Aiming Stamina

I get that aiming does need stamina. But first it´s going down way too fast. And secondly it is riddiculous that i can mine all day with a steel pickaxe and even refill my stamina while doing so.

Fix that crap first before you implement another not properly working stamina drain.

And instead of implementing such "challenges" maybe take care that we can´t go up a 89.5° hill with any vehicle. Or do jumps from any height without taking any damage to the vehicle.

well the aiming stamina usage is ridiculous. you can aim for very long time in real life without getting tired, but in game we can aim few seconds lol

in real life, you get really tired with aiming. if you ever tryed to keep steady aim with rifle in standing position, you would know. but this is game and i agree, if you can mine with steel pickaxe without getting tired, then you should be able to aim without any stamina loss.

I personally miss the old pickaxe with the 500 boulder damage. But I also think increasing the swing speed is the better deal . I've edited the attack speed of a pickaxe to be 2-3 times faster of what it currently is and I'm surprised at how nice it feels smashing this boulder like an anime character.

It can also be rather balanced as well . Hitting faster would drain the stamina faster as well,it would require the character to stop and rest more often ,it would also make regeneration items more viable end game and it also increases the heat map if you break metal objects which brings more zombies. It's a win win situation :D

Did I mention it looks cooler as well? The devs could definitely give it a try.

Aiming takes a lot of energy. Have you ever fired a 30lb draw bow? Try holding that for over 30 seconds and tell me how it feels. Hold a 5 lb weight at arms length and tell me how long you can do it? Holding it steady is actually really tough.

I agree the total available stamina drain is a bit over kill, but the drain from activity makes sense to me. Just like "running" while sneaking, it takes a lot of effort to creep along quickly.

i dont think bow weight 30lb. 6lb max or something. holding 5lb i would sleep before getting tired

on heavy weapons that makes sense

Hold a gallon of milk (7.5lbs) with one hand and your arm fully extended. (simulating aiming) I'll give you $20 if you can do for more than a minute without bending your elbow and getting tired to the point of pain.

He said 30lb draw weight. That's the measurement of effort needed to actually pull the bowstring back. On a plain recurve bow, you're holding that draw weight for the entire time so it gets taxing very fast.

Compound bow is a different animal, the actual bow weight plays into fatigue more so than the draw weight due to the cams taking the bulk of that load at full draw.
