I was joking when I said "at the current rate will A20 play like A8" I mean seriously... They added so much that they later removed. Mostly great concepts, but kept bad ones even though the reason for implementation has since been scrapped (mines in the wasteland and as random traps (not military zones) were implemented for the future lockpicking skill), they reworked the graphics twice and all the skills were implemented only to now get reduced again and now quality is next? Like... have they no clue of what the "original vision" is? One would think that something that gets implemented would kinda stay and be reworked, but TFPs just add stuff and if they dislike it after their 5 hours of play, they remove it, because players with large playhours have already got their moneys worth and replayability isn't important. FFS I shoulda just quit the forum when A17 was crap... it gets worse and worse with every update. PS: there will be nearly no new content in A18 (so no new zombies or electricity and probs no bandits) and gold is "about a year away" like... I don't even want to argue anymore... We have very different views on this matter. I feel weapon parts had such a great future (adding accuracy buffs, maybe the magazine blocks up while you are fighting zombies if its low quality and so on) Weapon mods are... allright... but I don't see as much promise in them. Khulkhuum Posted May 19, 2019 Share Posted May 19, 2019 Current implementation is way different. Instead of finding better quality parts you seek differently functioning addons. There was no option to use different parts for the same weapon, because using different parts made different weapons (sawed off shotgun and regular for comparison, which have some parts the same). Now you can have a multitude of mods and change how a weapon functions (to some extent), also increasing damage. You wouldnt have been able to do anything similar with weapon parts. The mods don't seem to be making any real difference other than tools for mining/digging and the weapons mods in regard to the laser sight is very buggy and loses the centre alignment after zooming in and out and the reflex scope when zoomed in is useless and bare In mind I was a semi pro fps player on console and I use my console controller on pc and the aiming is miles off soo it's hit and miss and not enough time testing them and it feels like as all the 2000 and 4000 plus players like myself but mostly on console have got to the point of being pissed when we spent so much time on a amazing game and only one of its calibre to be later bombarded with further bugs and issues to break the game so late in to the alpha stages yet I'm still playing but hope in the future it is resolved because it will be a shame to see this game be like all other games... all very acardaey Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yea they work fine on console games because most console games also use autoaim to augment them.... yeah for some reason I'm absolute crap on keyboard and mouse for any fps or any first person games on pc lol but ironically I could speed run all dungeons apart from the like modern dungeons on WOW with no damn problem just always stuck with controller for fp... I should just bite the bullet and learn with it really and no doubt my build speed is increased with the controller but maybe its the mouse speed I need to change so I don't feel like I'm on hyper speed lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sure you can get used to one or the other, but the level of precision for a specified task is way different. If you had a VR controller to precisely point it towards a target (however it would work without using the goggles or with them), this would be also different from all fps we are used to operating with mouse and keyboard.
