Can we change the timeline smiley faces to frowny faces. I remember a post that said "Definately sometime in August". Also a post that said updates would come faster.....sigh

 

What smiley timeline?

 

I think you mis-remembered the post. It actually said that future updates would make you come(sic) faster....

I recorded a base tour and showed my character build. Some walkers interrupted, they got fisted.

 

Boss the hype train is ready to be loaded with more coal......release the vid when ready, she is awaiting. :)

We don't have a crystal ball, it is what it is. Rick said in the video he wanted to do a soft landing, at that time it seemed like we'd be ready, but time flies and we're not quite there. A17 was a rough landing and didn't do anyone any good. It will be done when we feel like its good enough, and no date or any amount of disgruntled posts will change when it drops. We want this to be the most stable best build since A14 and change our reputation for the better. It sucks waiting, but getting a memory leaked random world crashing on generation build this weekend will just frustrate everyone.

Imo you should be able to do everything you listed without specialization. However, specialization should make you better at some of those things when compared to those who are not specced in them.

 

So how do you specialise in knowledge about zombie behaviour and using their behaviour to your advantage? You can't just specc into int for that, it is your own brain doing the work :cocksure:

nah I wouldn't want them doing all the work. just to get a bit of a feel for using them to justify the cost for making it. like I think it's 4 forged iron for the metal spikes and yes it's not a lot but when making enough to go around a 7x7 base and watching them break as fast as the wood it almost made them pointless to use. at least from what I remember when using them in alpha 17.

 

If I look into the xml:

 

Iron spikes have 4 times as much damage output as wood spikes, but also the radiated zombies have nearly 4 times as much HP as the basic zombies.

 

One wood spike damages 3/4th of one basic zombie. That is how much swings of an iron axe? Compare that to the work to mine and scavenge the equivalence of one 7.62mm bullet.

Wow, I have a treat for you guys.... I recorded day 77 and it was super intense! Sorry no behemoth spawned, but I promise you some crazy action. I will need to farm 2k rounds for the next horde and have another m60 on my belt :) Uploading now.

I'm lovin' the new hi res icons! The +1 hp +1 stamina per level is very interesting. has the perk, I cannot remember the name, that adds max HP been removed?

EDIT: just seen the garage door, yes yes yes!!!!!!!

A18 is looking good, hell yeah! This might be to premature but it looks like A18 will bring back the joy of looting. :)

The shooting then he blows up is the problem. Is he holding a (un)dead-mans switch? If he reached your last door, what could you have done? Your chests were two meters away, is the blast radius one meter?

 

I plan playing the game vanilla, at least twice. But the Demo man feels trollish to me. I'm pretty sure he will not be apart of my game for long.

 

He might be your buddy, let him get clogged up near his friends, shoot and boom, free rocket to blow up a bunch of nearby zeds.

 

I'm assuming that you will get the experience for killing the group?

A18 is by far the most engaged I've been in the game in years, and is the best version ever. Of course take that with a grain of salt I always say that (the latter part). But this time the whole team feels this way not just me.

 

Nice! :) Wouldn't mind if you did a walk though of that castle.

Easy. Same way as how you spec. into not being a smartass. :p

 

Joking aside, I dont think there is a perk/skill/attritube for zombie behavior analysis....yet....get to working madmole! 😅

Yeah I'm glad tower defense got some major improvements, I had a blast last night. The funny thing is I go to all the vending machines and buy out the dog food so I can craft grandpa's learn'n elixer :D Might as well level as much as I can on horde night, leveling is a bitch at level 60.

 

You could always make it so leveling up past 60 isn't so bad. :)

 

Also, if you want better stopping power, you could always put down another set of iron bars in front of the first.

You could hold out twice as long.
