I like it.

I would not call it unrealistic, since you can stab a knife that fast. I watched 3:10 to Yuma recently and Russell Crowe stabbed a sleeping guy in the neck with a fork many times in a short period of time. Try it yourself and see, but not on an actual person. ;)

Yeah, I ran a couple of games a few alphas ago where I played exclusively with the knife, I figured I could gut animals and zeds with it, so it saved me a spot in my pack. The idea worked well but I then needed to carry iron to repair it, so that was the tradeoff.

Loads of fun plowing through POI's with it though. Had to make best use of chokepoints.

Windows 7 still has between 25% and 30% market share. Microsoft does not want to support it any longer, as its expensive. But they might be forced to do so. Especially if there are still big companies that have not upgraded their workstations.

https://gs.statcounter.com/os-version-market-share/windows/desktop/worldwide

I believe there were talks (from unsited sources) that they were considering support for companies (for example), but that the average citizen would have about a year to convert over to a Windows 10 operating system for a much reduced price. After that, the deal would be off for the average Joe, but companies/organizations could be under a permanent (or very nearly so) contract/support system. But this was all rumored to be leaked information, and I didn't dive too deep into it, so take this with a large pinch of salt.

somebody encountered occasionally weird issues when getting off a bicycle?

last time i tried to get off, i duped it, got teleported somewhere else in a state where i'm riding and not riding a bicycle. i can't do anything except for steering and its speeding up on its own, causing collisions and making things worse. In the end i could not get off the bicycle cause i'm kind of stuck on it, even if i exit and rejoin the game.

getting killed seems to be the way to get out of this situation, if i get my backpack back i get everything except for the stuff which was in the toolbelt, this is lost.

was unfortunately not fast enough to record this stuff, will try next time together with log.

I have had some bike glitches. If you jump off it on a hill and it rolls back onto you, you get the death animation (but you don't actually die)

For some companies, upgrading is really costly and risky. So they might delay that past the announced end of support.

Microsoft must do something then. Be that licensed support, or third party support for security.

In all cases, for the consumers it'll be over in a few months. Time to switch to GNU-Linux :D

A lot of the older GPU's don't have windows 10 drivers nor will get any.

Vulkan support is going to be a priority me thinks

yep happened to me many times. Usually it goes like this for me:

I log out while on vehicle. I log in - vehice dissapeared. I use console command to spawn a new vehicle and carry on. Later on I go through the same area on my spawned vehicle and BOOM. I Log out log back in and have everything except my toolbelt and world now contains my old vehicle and my new spawned vehicle.

Well, Madmole. I have to say this in serious note. Your approach shown in Header Message is wrong. You are not honest with your own game with that statement. I love this game for what it offer me, all changes and stuff. But when you start Targetting market audience and put Whole system vision to one target you tend to miss the originality of it.

I know why people bother for audience, but this approach of first 20hrs is wrong. You make game that is playable for all, You fix bugs, improve performance, that is great, but for first 20 hrs limit your imagination. I don't want this game to fail. So please take down that message and improve your thinking to making a great game. If game is good people will stay, else Yahoo fails after been good for years. You cannot control people.

Dude what? Read again what he said. Read it and think about it. Thoroughly.

Oh no, not this again, others and I reported this bug in A17. When it happened to me I had to delete my save it got so borked. This is the boogey man of bugs. Check under your bed folks.

I would have to agree, this is a game killing bug, atleast it was in 17 and this sounds exactly like it so I'm assuming its the same one.

So instead of being helpful as you claim to be (your shtick is really getting tiresome, by the way) you'd rather throw out a drive by passive aggressive insult against a member of staff without any verifiable proof. Way to lend credibility.

Also if you're going to PM me, learn how to spell/use basic grammar.

I'm not here to argue with you. Have a nice day.

EDIT: Please cease and desist and further false accusations. I've never insulted a member of TFP on this forum.

Hey now you 2 play nice!

I agree, instead of fighting just send each other nudez. That’s what DaVega and I do.

I have an idea for a new zombie. It would run up and smack you for little to no damage, and then try to escape. Sort of like the anti-ghost in Mario or that night time spawn only zombie from Dying Light.

i think your talking about the "bolters" from dying light. witch would be cool and i got a few night zombie ideas

Night prowler: these zombies look like a feral zombie but they are hunch backed , have 4 long claws , big glowing red eyes , and can Jump and leap very far. they have Natural Armor at night that blocks around 85% of damage. note they have 1500 HP. they can leap at you and jump around, 15 blocks high. and there fast!

but they hate light. the brighter the light the more armor they lose! and if set on fire they lose 100% but stuff like. mining helmets and gun lights lower the armor to 75% and stuff like street lamps , flashlights and spotlights there armor is lowered to 15%.

they are kinda rare to find but if you kill them you get around 2500 xp and a loot bag every time!

Note: AP rounds don't help getting through there armor!

---------------------------------------------------------

Night Hunters: these zombies are very skeltal and have glowing red eyes! while they only have 200 hp they move in big numbers and they are really fast! they screech to lure nearby zombies and even more of them!. they don't fear light but they mostly come out at night

they spawn a lot and drop around 400 xp

also i think the screamer zombies should be a kind of zombie that would run away and hide!

That stats doesn't tell how many are gamers in them. Most Big Companies, Govt do not upgrade easily, because well they need permission from local congress, but they still count in these reports. I am sure 90% gamers are already on win 10.. and I am sure TFP has their own stats of what machines their game is installed, so they can make decision from those reports.

You can still upgrade your Win 7 key to Win 10. Just install it Win 10 and I guess putting win 7 key get it activated. [i read about it somewhere, but don't have old key to test myself.

It says "We want to make the first twenty hours polished and amazing," and I believe he is referring to 20hr of game play. And yes, I do not expect most of people to understand what I am saying. But believe MM will understand it.

Win 7 is currently used by 18% of the Steam playerbase.

Thats not negligible.

Linux with <1% however is. (as client)

I like gun jamming, it realistically relates to item skill (gun maintainance) and gun level (product quality / age).

And gives tension, if you might have a jam at the wrong moment.

Maybe with a counter strategy for the player, such that the first bullet always fires.

-> making the player always check that the gun it fully loaded.

SphereII and I discussed adding weapon jamming. If done well it could add excitement in tough situations. Probability would be linked to weapon condition, and maybe mitigated somewhat by a perk. Mechanic would be the jamming would simply require a weapon reload to clear. No repair involved but repairing a weapon would reduce jamming probability.

Video games don't cause violence.

Video game designers do!

Omg, that's one of my all times favorite right there, 3:10 to Yuma and Law Abiding Citizen great movies.

Its a pretty funny Canadian show about these hicks/jocks/druggies and their petty conflicts.

Don't know if it is your kind of humour but Kenny created another show called Testees. I thought it was pretty funny also.

i think it could be like Gun jamming from Far Cry 2.

the less maintained your gun is the higher chance of it jamming. so when it happens you beat on the gun and try to unjam it.

it done right i could be really cool!
