EnableScope
I ABHOR how we cannot sit down on a chair or couch. I built an underground bunker and placed a couch in front of the TV and chairs in front of the dinner table and I can't even sit on them. This is an outrage. When electricity is added I better be able to at least turn my TV on and more importantly play music through the television. Also we need to be able to prepare meals on our dinner table and get these furnaces operational. This is imperative to the salvation of the human race. No, truthfully it'd make sense to be able to at least sit on the couches and chairs we have in the game. The TV bit is only good if they put something good onto it to watch, having a simple still image that appears on the screen of the TV when you turn it on would be corny. As for music, don't have it be from the TV as MTV died out long ago. Have it be from a radio, and then you could also use the radio as a source to attract zombies if you take it out in the world and use it with batteries or something. Naramag
I would love to sit on top of my tower like an old geezer on his front porch, picking zombies with my hunting rifle... "Get off my lawn!!!"
RavenGMT
Thank you for asking about using the decorations! One of the important features of any game is how well you engage the players. Creating an environment that's customizable and usable is very engaging. Having a place that looks and functions like your dream bunker is very cool to me. Perhaps sitting on chairs, couches, etc could recharge stamina a bit faster than, say, standing there with a pickaxe.
Guppycur
If a 1996 Duke Nukem game could have security cameras, so should we. Just saying, it'd be something to watch on that TV.

warmer
ya know at first I thought this was a little overkill in the need dept, but if has a direct in game benefit. That's a great way to get stamina back to full without drinking water. A little rest and respite would be a welcome game play mechanic instead of drinking golden rod tea. Right now I feel that my bladder should explode from the amount of golden rod tea I've had to drink. So many chairs and so little ability to place my butt on them

Now we just need the television and preparing food on a table!

Come get some!" *headshot* "ooh, that's gotta hurt" but of course.. copyright issues and such... oh well... in my head I can always imagine... Dork
You guys need to understand, 7D2D is about a zombie apocalypse nothing works, Motor Vehicles and Electricity. Think about what would actually work in a zombie apocalypse. ~ mincraftdork666
Drifter
Cars are coming I think. As for electricity, I would be headed to my local hardware or farm supply store to loot some solar panels. Some areas might have wind generators as well. There isn't enough sustained wind where I live for stores to carry them. But chairs, yes, we had a great lounge area set up on our server before the last update. I wanted so much, to just sit down and chill on the sofa that wound around the room.
