I've changed the quests.xml file to tailor the Basic Survival into something my friends and I enjoy more. I even edited Localization - Quests.txt so that the updated quest subtitles are displayed (though I didn't change the descriptions, because no one ever reads them). I edited a few recipes and made sure to update the quest's phases to reflect the new materials needed and what is expected to be crafted. I added rewards at the end of each quest part so that the player doesn't have to collect anything, just follow the instructions. This is where the problem comes in. The first part of the Basic Survival quest requires a bedroll to be crafted. I changed the recipe to require plant fibers, cotton, and cloth. Depending on the player spawn, cotton can be impossible to collect without traveling through several biomes. How can I give the player the required amount of cotton and plant fibers right as the quest is started? Finally, I was changing some of the icons displayed beside the checklist for each part. Part four requires the player to make padded armor. I changed the icon value to "ui_game_symbol_light_armor", but that displays a jacket. Does anyone know the value for the icon displayed by the light armor skill? Thanks for reading!
