Annihilated1
Ever since A17 went live I cannot play this game anymore. Every time I try the game will crash at random times. I have tried every fix that I could find and none of them have fixed the issue. I don't know what else to do at this point. I really enjoy this game and it sucks because I can't play it anymore. I never had ANY issues before A17.
SylenThunder
I would advised reading the Sticky Threads. Sticky: SUPPORT FAQ: Information and Common Solutions Sticky: IMPORTANT ---- Please Read Before Creating New Threads ---- Sticky: Tips for Improved Performance on a17 Experimental I'm certain one of them will have the information you seek, or will provide the information you need to supply in order to get information. Sticky threads are things you should always check when you are going to be posting in a forum.
Annihilated1
My apologies, especially for not reading the sticky on creating new threads. I have started new games several times (both private games and online), and gotten the same issue each time. I have validated my files through Steam several times and have started brand new private games after and still had the issue. The problem I am having is that the game locks up and stops responding almost immediately in multiplayer and at random times in a single player game. One multiplayer game I have tried to play on is modded (I don't know what mods they are running however). All of the other games I have tried to play are not modded and hosted by me so I could try to play with a couple friends. I tried logging onto the modded game and it crashed almost immediately. Here is a link to the output log: https://pastebin.com/iR2QbXjD I will retry everything in the faq sticky and see if I can get any kind of a resolution in the meantime. Again, my apologies for the lack of information and I thank you guys for any help you can offer.

Annihilated1
I tried that solution and so far it seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks again for posting that link Nugetti.
sevoj
Hello, OS - Win 10 Home MB - Intel DZ77BH55K CPU - Intel i7-3770 Video Card - MSI Radeon RX 480 4GB RAM - 16GB Single Monitor I am suffering from similar symptoms since A17 (b240) and it is still present in A17.1 Usually my game will freeze and then CTD but there have been some instances where the CTD is instant. This typically occurs ~1 hour into the game but times vary (sometimes sooner sometimes later) Issue occurs both in SP and MP games that I host. Now my buds make fun of my "high end PC that crashes every hour" (Some of them still use laptops to play) I have checked the GPU driver and they are up to the latest recommended driver. Files have been validated and new game created still same issue. I have tried running GLCore which didn't seem to have an effect. I have checked CPU and GPU temperatures but they still appear to be within normal operating range. The game and EAC are listed as trusted in my internet security. I have tried "-force-feature-level–9–3" but still crashes. I used to task manager to check my RAM usage and it typically maxes at about 73% Here are a few output logs from games that have crashed. [i was host] https://pastebin.com/M0237Eik https://pastebin.com/UQ2aXMaW Here is a post from when I tried the launch option "-force-feature-level–10–0" https://pastebin.com/XpdiHSA9 This was a typical freeze then CTD with the exception of the following error for the first time. I have not been able to find any crash logs to my knowledge. Thanks in advance for the help.

I have not been able to find any crash logs to my knowledge. Thanks in advance for the help. I would recommend fully excluding the game client, or even the whole Steam folder, from your Antivirus and other security software. Then verify the files and try again. Instructions are in the Sticky FAQ thread.
sevoj
Hi Sylen, Thanks for the advice I hadn't done that previously. I created an exception for the game folder and disabled all the security applications available I however did not specify an object (I don't know what object to specify) so I am unsure if that would have been an issue. Over an hour into the game it froze and CTD again. I would have posted a pastebin link but the file was too large.

And I'd uninstall the game -- and delete everything 7 days -- such as the AppData, all of it. I did that and I havent had a single crash since 17.1 on my laptop. I never run EAC, it seems to not like this game at all.

I did that and I havent had a single crash since 17.1 on my laptop. I never run EAC, it seems to not like this game at all. I uninstalled the game, deleted the local files, deleted AppData and all the folders I could find for the game. Reinstalled the game. Turned off EAC and had others turn EAC off. Started a brand new RWG world and played for 2 hours before a freeze and CTD. Unfortunately I am traveling outside the country and have not had time to upload the output log. I will try to get this done when I get back.
sevoj
Hello, Finally back from my travels. You can find the output log here: https://pastebin.com/Mn0DgEpt I did however notice the following error: "D3D11: Failed to create RenderTexture (4096 x 4096 fmt 27 aa 1), error 0x8007000e (Filename: Line: 219)"
SylenThunder
Yeah, sounds like the assets file may be corrupted. Did you exclude the client folder from your AV software before you ran the verify?
sevoj
I am pretty sure I did that but I will uninstall the game, clear the files in AppData, and re-validate files just in case. I should have an update by next week sometime.
