AtomicUs5000 Posted January 16, 2019 Share Posted January 16, 2019 Alpha 17.1 Experimental B9 doesn't have much different to test. Is there something in particular we should test? I'm going to wipe my saves and start over anyway, but this time it really seems not worth it. The player xp cvars were mentioned in the F3 menu. Is this something we should focus on? zombo Posted January 16, 2019 Share Posted January 16, 2019 Well so far I haven't seen the dreadful quarter second freeze stutter yet, so their claim of optimizations (which they misspelled along with a lot of things in that post) seems to be correct. The new random gen seems a little different, but I am not for sure. Seems like biomes are more large circles again instead of chaotic scrambles (which I kinda liked).
