Alpha 17 theory. aka Am I over thinking things?

I have a theory that Alpha 17 takes place around 35 years after Alpha 16 and that a second outbreak happened in between that time. My reasoning for this is that the structures appear to have been upgraded with repairs which would have taken some time, but have once again fallen into disrepair, all of the traders have changed but one Traders Bob and Hugh appear to be older Trader Rekt looks younger so was Rekt a Family name and this trader Rekt is the originals son? Jimmy was replaced with Jen, so did Jimmy get sick and Jen ( a doctor from the look of her) come to take care of him then after he passed she stayed on to run the shop and be able to help more people? Joel is the only one who still looks the same and in the experimental he had a strange glow around him (Was Trader Joel meant to be a God?) those two things along with the smarter Zombies makes me think that as the Alpha 15 survivors began to turn the tide of the battle they began researching the zombies and due to those experiments the zombies became a threat again and rose up against the Alpha 16 survivors leading into the Alpha 17 we have been presented with today. Both Grace and the addition of super corn seem to bare evidence to this theory and seeing as how Grace appears to have been an attraction of some sort it looks like the survivors were able to have free time to indulge in such activities. What do you all think?

I'm getting tired of these threads criticizing the the long development time between A16 and A17....

 

We get it! It felt like 35 years!!!

 

 

Just kidding. That is a funny thought. There is no timeline that corresponds with the development from alpha to alpha but the backstory you created is cool.
