Has the too hot/too cold bug been fixed in latest experimental?

I stopped playing a17e- b203 when i encountered that annoying bug that didnt want to go away even with clothes and lvl 1 resist perk.

In my base i was ''too cold'' unless near fire, when i come out at day i was too hot. There were dozens of situations when ''too hot'' and ''too cold'' at day just switched in under 30 seconds (moving like 20 meters/92384,44 feet ((sryimnotamerican)) from 1 point to another caused that bug).

I even bought 1 perk of weather resistance, but nope, didnt help.

It is kinda fixed. Meaning clothing can have both "cold resist" and "heat resist".

Armor can also have mods installed to deal with either.

And the perk can be levelled too.

However, i do not know how much you'll need of each to negoiate both cold and hot.

The patchwork map also makes it very annoying before you can get a motorized

vehicle and proper clothing.

IMO, it is a better system then it was in A16, but not before one have gotten the

proper equipment.

So far I've only hit "too cold" situations.

In one case holding a torch out fixed the issue. The 2nd changing from a trench coat to a puffer coat made it go away.

Otherwise no issues so far after a few hours playing.

Bah this is a mechanic that has NEVER worked in any Alpha.

I just added a Coat I can craft with plant fibers that looks like the Black Duster and gives 100% protection.

Screw the temperature!

I never liked this aspect of 7DTD.

Here ya go if you want it.

Lucky Duster

<item name="LuckyDuster">
<property name="Extends" value="leatherDuster"/>
<property name="Tags" value="upperbody,lowerbody,chest,clothing"/>
<property name="DisplayType" value="clothing"/>
<property name="CustomIcon" value="leatherDuster"/>
<property name="CustomIconTint" value="60,65,70"/>
<property name="EconomicValue" value="1200"/>
<property class="UMA">
	<property name="Overlay0Tint" value="60,65,70"/>
</property>
<effect_group tiered="false">
	<passive_effect name="ModSlots" operation="base_set" value="1"/>
	<passive_effect name="HypothermalResist" operation="base_add" value="100"/>
	<passive_effect name="HyperthermalResist" operation="base_add" value="100"/>
</effect_group>

I can get unlucky at times but while it's annoying, I have not had a hard time managing weather. You been finding it difficult to keep warm or do you just not like having to find the right mix of gear?

I don't like needing a change of different clothes just to explore 100 meters when I start with 50% of the initial bag space.

I just don't care at all about the entire mechanic.

[i can find clothing/gear just fine.]

I don't enjoy it and I don't feel it adds to the game [for me] in any way.

I always Mod it out.

That's just me though.

Some people really like it.

Apparently it adds an element of survival or realism or ... something... whatever.

Whatever makes the game more fun for you is just fine.
