Summary: Significant constant ground stutter/jitter

Version: Stable 240

Platform: PC

OS/Version: Windows

Game mode: sp NAV

 

Gameplay Impact: HIGH

 

Did you wipe old saves? Y

Did you start a new game? Y

Did you validate your files? Y

Are you using any mods? N

EAC on or off ? off and on

 

Status: NEW (should be in known issues by now, but it keeps getting ignored)

 

Bug Description: Movement causes significant stutter/jitter, specifically on the ground. When looking upwards, the stutter isnt there. It's just evident when looking at the floor

 

Reproduce steps:

 

Just run the game, it's most evident on high framerate monitors (120hz+)

 

Result: Performance is a lot better for me in A17, but I can't play because of this issue

Please do something about the server FPS burglaries,

10 people and server fps of 6 ??

 

Zombie max 60 are set and 120 are on the server ???

 

Please create MP properly and fix the burglaries.

 

For comparison Alpha 16

18 people and server fps of 15, no lags etc

 

Alpha 17 10 people and 6 FPS? Really ?

Game is designed with a max player count of 8. Not 10, not 30, not 50.

Sometimes items get locked on the toolbelt, use shift LMB or the action button when item is highlighted to solve some sightings

 

I found that pressing the "drop item" key and picking it back up fixed that. Exit the menu, hold the item, press g, and then pick it up. It worked for me.

water has become very rare, is this normal?

 

There are now Water Cooler and Water Bottle containers in some POI's that give a lot of water. If you have problems beyond that, save your Cans to boil water in, make sure to fill empty bottles when you see a lake, or dig up snow to cook later.

I wouldn't bank on this. I'd say it's less likely you'd need world resets but not guaranteed given the long list of fixes that are needed for the A17 branch including the many not documented as known issues.

I think it's more likely they will be optional. A wipe is only required to get the new features/fixes.

Stable Build. fresh wipe. Land Claims still show up on other players radar in multiplayer. happened 3 times so far. This is going to ruin a lot of players lives playing online.

 

 

It seems the players who can see the claims have been players who have never placed a claim yet.

 

THIS IS GAME BREAKING.. if you need info PLEASE>> the online community will do anything to help

Bug Description: Generation a random seed map produces a horrible mess of roads going up and down, sheer drops, strange crags, jutting up here and there, buildings hanging over cliffs, buildings overlapping other buildings, buildings sitting several meters below the ground level, mountains in cities, multiple biome changes within a 100 meter square, always only one single trader (settlement_trader_01) per map, extremely excessive amounts of burned, desert, wasteland, roads going through lakes below the water line with water floating on both sides like Moses parting the Red Sea.

 

Reproduce steps:

 

Generate any map and play.

 

Result: Really unusable maps.

I will SECOND THIS .. as many others saying the same thing …. We have been complaining about Map ever since B233 came out and it is Still a Disaster …. I just got done trying 3 new maps .. unplayable as far as I'm concern.

Status: NEW

 

Bug Description: Infinity jump, without no cost stamina.

 

Reproduce steps: To be precise, jump, then in air, press and hold jump button until next jump, and so repeat the cycle.

Сycle is "in air, press and hold jump button until next jump", bunny hop you can call it.

As i noticed, game have only one trigger when jump cost stamina, only when you are on something, then jump. In any other case, you can use this cycle jumping after first jump, or in mid-air when falling from something.

This bug will be usefull, when you're under fire, just bunny hoping, trying not to get hit by bullet or easy to avoid melle hits from zeds or animals.

Bug Description: Large amounts of bears are spawning in all looted POIS usually at least 2 per room and start to spawn in nearly immediately after exiting building

Diersville POIS full of bears and wolves before looting making it almost impossible to enter and loot seems like the bears and wolves have taken the spawn spots for zombies.

Also found Hospital in Diersville to be full of bears before anyone has entered and looted must be almost 50+ bears

 

Reproduce steps:

 

Navezgame and play.

 

Result: Near impossible looting in large POIS and towns

3) Stand in total darkness

 

Actual result: Candle provides no illumination until attached to wall

 

Expected result: Candle provides light like torch when equipped

Bug Description: Dismembermet does not work at all

 

Reproduce steps:

1. Put skillponts to Perception / Explosive Weapons

2. Try any weapon and/or armunition type to dismember legs on zeds

 

Actual result: Never dismember limbs.

 

Expected result: legs / arms should be dismembered.

Summary: Hungry Fat Female Zombie XP

Bug Description: The hungry fat female zombies is giving just 550 XP.. But i guess its a bug, because all others fat and strong zombies as she is, gives 800 XP.

 

Expected result: She should give 800 XP.. We need a lot more hits to kill her than normal zombies that gives 550xp

A17 b240 EXP is identical to the stable. Enjoy guys !

I hope not. Random map gen is borked in b240 - you get gaps with missing POIs, repetitive structures (that aren't all that intresting), and a bunch of POIs that never spawn, particularly for towns.

 

That's not even mentioning all the other bugs (that aren't a big deal on experimental but one might think waiting to call something "stable" that's clearly not isn't the greatest gift).
