The poi pack/poi archive/overhaul was first compiled by Magoli in the early Alphas of the game and has continued to grow over the years. Prefabs are balanced to the pack and to work together in a vanilla setting. The compopack is also a museum and archive to keep every poi ever made alive and not forgotten. ***IMPORTANT INFO*** This will require a new world to be generated, not just a new save game because several prefabs have changed size which can cause severe errors in existing world when they are reset by questing. For multiplayer the mod will need to be installed on all player clients. This is a definate as keyracks will not work as with the many other issues caused by not having them in your prefab folder. A comprehensive clean. Every prefab has been gone through to fit into A20 and the new tile system. A full light optimisation on prefabs, a texture go thru and zombie spawn site clean up in an attempt to lower lag. All quest locations should now work. Every prefab that has a quest has been gone through and updated to ensure they can be completed. Vanilla locations not included. A questpath walkthroughs have been gone through to insure entry into the buildings. a Major questpath walkthrough is ongoing. Many prefabs have had several of their doors unlocked in logical locations. Also gone through each prefab to fix paint, a gew spots may be missing, if so, please report. A large loot reduction has been done in many gamebreakingly over populated loot pois. COMPOPACK 48 CHANGELOG Tasks that will be ongoing - Replaced many blocks to their correct block for texture saving. IE: if it was painted concrete and the block under the paint was actually wood it got replaced with concrete (This will still continue into CP47 if we find more) - Zombie amounts in prefabs were fixed to a more standardised level and per more vanilla amounts in alot of over populated pois. (Mine included lol) - Loot rebalance will be ongoing each and every iteration of the compo pack. - quests, pathing and zombie interactions. Ie: active, passive and attack tags. Works for those creating map. May cause some lag issues if all files are kept in the Mods folder. For better FPS, please use the Part 1 and Part 2 downloads below. How to install the modlet: https://youtu.be/a2A4i4G5ix8 How to use the pack: https://youtu.be/9j23yIShA8g For server owners: CP#48 Part 1: https://www.moddb.com/games/7-days-to-die/downloads/cp-481-part-1 Use Part 1 if you generate maps directly on the server or clientside. CP#48 Part 2: https://www.moddb.com/games/7-days-to-die/downloads/cp481-part-2 >These files go into the Prefabs folder. Players can download Part 2 and add directly to their local Prefabs folder. This will help with FPS. Still stuck? Visit: For help: Magolis Compopack Discord Unveiling (video unveiling Infinity a 7 days to die prefab installer) How To Use Infinity: SERVER INSTRUCTIONS: AS prefabs are required on both server and client side of every user that joins your server. After you have selected the prefabs you only wish on your server and they appear in your prefab folder bundle them up and send to your players and drag them into your server prefab folder to. For sending to other users you can simply save a preset in infinity and send them the saved txt file they can then load up in infinity and it dl for them as well. INFINITY STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS: HOW TO SET UP AND USE INFINITY: 1. Find pathsettings.txt and open using any text reader like notepad or notepad++ 2. Get your game address where the 7daystodie.exe is and past into first line of pathsettings.txt (Instructions on how to do this in the README_FIRST.txt) 3. Get your appdata address C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie and past in 2nd line. (see video on how to unhide the appdata folder) 4. Save and close. 5. Run the infinity v1.exe (a screen will appear and run thru a few processess) STEP 1: 6. Read then hit any key. The following settlements need just a "Y" or a "N" 6a. Fabbersville - "Y" you see fabbersville poi_tile set option. Fabbersville - "N" Fabbersville Poi Tile set skipped. 6b. Megacity - "Y" you see Mega City Poi Tile Set option. Mega City "N" Mega City Poi Tile Set skipped. 6c. Fabbersville - "Y" Fabbersville Poi Tile Set "N" Mega City - "Y" Mega City Poi Tile Set "N" (As lpng as Mega City and/or fabbersville is selected you will get corralating Poi Tile Set option that is attached to that settlement. 7. Continue to choose Y/N for the remaining settlements. STEP 2: POI Tile Sets that spawn in Vanilla Cities a "Y" or a "N" response fpr the following 20 poi/tile sets. [I reccomend either have the poi tile sets in gabbersville and mega city only and not in vanilla cities (so "Y" to fabbers and mega poi tile sets and "N" to the Step 2 poi tile sets. or vice versa - "N" to gabbersville and Mega City Poi Tile Sets and "Y" to all Step 2 Poi Tile Sets.] STEP 3: CP Pois that spawn in vanilla cities: Top Line Left side: * Select all (removes all in that district. click twice to undo back to all selected.) * Load Preset (adds a preset previously done prior) * Save Preset (saves the current list for future use to save redoing step 3 all again) [Saves the list in the infinity folder] * Back To Step 1 (returns to the first step in case you change your mind) * Back to step 2 (Returns you to step 2 in case you change your mind) - Pois list left side. - Category Selection middle top [Districts containing in each what cp pois spawn in each district] - Tag Selection middle bottom [highlight all attached to the tag - LMB (left Mouse Button) Remove all attached to that tag - RMB (Right Mouse Button)] - Poi Info right top [Name of poi, allowed biomes, editor group, size, sleeper volumes and min and max, Difficulty tier, Questable, yoffset] - Poi Picture right bottom ***Please note*** Biome Decoration Tag does NOT work Once you finish going thru these hit Install Files next page gives you a chance to return to change or add or remove any you mistake or what not by pressing any key [OTHER then 1] Press 1 to complete and start the adding process. Once complete press any key and close program. Run game and enjoy. SERVER INSTRUCTIONS: once the server host completes the above they have a few options to get the list of prefabs to the players to join their servers with: 1. Simply save a preset and send this preset to the player for them to load infinity and use to get the pois placed in the right folders/ [Pathsettings.txt will need to be correct for them on their end. 2. Simply zip up the prefabs placed in the prefab folder and send to the player/s to be placed in the prefab folder. Play and enjoy Recommended choices: The poi tile sets are monotinous meaning if you have them in fabbersville, megacity and the vanilla cities you will see alot of them. I recommend the poi tile sets be in fabbersville and megacity only no vanilla cities OR none in fabbersville and megacity and them in vanilla cities only. Prefabs will also need to be on client side as well as server side. 2. The 'Not Medieval Mod' is a fantasy modpack based around a 'medieval/historical' theme. It provides an immersive environment, from game characters to the overall theme. The goal was to move back in time and bring in a touch of magic. As such, modern day assets have been removed, renamed, or replaced where possible. Many regular game features will be recognisable and allow players to quickly adapt to the new theme. For example, a Worktable is now an NMM Dragon Worktable with some craftable items removed but some new ones gained. Regular modern zombies are also gone but you'll still see Burnt Zombies out there and a few crawlers in POIs. The Wasteland is now Orcland with a partial burnt crispiness and wasted feel. While the NMM is not long out of development, it is fully functional, and can be downloaded from Github (development build updated regularly for testing purposes) and Moddb (stable build updated peridically). DEVELOPMENT BUILD - Can change daily Github: https://github.com/drkstardragon/NMM (This version is the development version and updated regularly. The current version will show the date on the Readme.) Github World: https://github.com/drkstardragon/NMMWorlds (This World is compatible with the above and will be updated when necessary. The current version will show the date of creation in the file name.) STABLE BUILD - Updated weekly/monthly Moddb: https://www.moddb.com/company/not-medieval-mod-developers/downloads/mods10 (This version is the current public version which is decent for communities who want a stable build for everyone to download and share the same assets. It will be given a rapid update for critical issues, but other than that updates will arrive when there is sufficient additional content or change.) Moddb World NMM01: https://www.moddb.com/company/not-medieval-mod-developers/downloads/nmm01 (This World is compatible with the above and will be updated when necessary. It is 6K) Moddb World NMM02: https://www.moddb.com/company/not-medieval-mod-developers/downloads/nmm02 (This World is compatible with the above and will be updated when necessary. It is 8K) LOCALIZATION The NMM mod has been built using an English interface and Localization mods are gladly accepted for other languages. Here are links to Localization mods submitted for players that prefer to play in that language interface. Japanese Localization Mod created by Macksan (日本語化MOD) https://www.moddb.com/company/not-medieval-mod-developers/downloads/zzz-jpn-macksan-notmdvl No log in is required for either Github or Moddb. The Moddb version will be updated on a weekly-monthly basis when the current Github version has been fully tested as stable.) Installation Place these individual mods from the bundle in your Mods folder. The bundle to be placed in your Mods folder consists of the following: For Players and Server Admin/Hosts who have never installed a mod before, here are some simple step by step instructions: 1. If you've never installed a mod before, it is necessary to create a Mods folder in the main directory, typically inside :\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die. In the future, this location may change and we'll update instructions at that time. If you have a custom install or your server host has modified the installation location, then you may have to explore. 2. Simply make a new folder called Mods (with a capital M to reflect standard nomenclature) in your '7 Days To Die' main directory folder. 3. You can now drag all of the mod folders directly out of the zipped file, and it can be placed directly into the Mods folder. It should look like the list of folders and file in the image above. 4. And when you launch the game, turn EAC (anti cheat software) off because EAC will not accept the custom content. Does this Mod need to be installed in the server/client host? = YES Do players also need to install this Mod? = YES (because it contains custom content that cannot be downloaded from the server). About the World - NMM01 NMM currently uses the game's in-house RWG with a little repainting of the Biomes for additional variety. In addition, all buildings will be community made and incorporated into A20s superb Tiling system. This image shows how the biome and layout will look. The placement of Wilderness POIs and mixing of POIs in the tiling system will change as updates arrive and this image will be a very true likeness of what can be expected. 6K Version 8K Version To make your own RWG, temporarily remove your Data > Prefabs > POIs. The NMM is bundled with all the required POIs to generate a World. If you prefer not to temporarily remove your POIs folder, your World will only have NMM City/Town/Village Tiles, but the Wilderness will contain regular default buildings. It is brought to you by Darkstardragon, who has been very active supporting the community project NPCMod, with an abundance of custom Addon entity packs. With the NPCMod being released (which powers the NMM), followed by CP48 Medievil Village (which adds that full on immersion to locations), the 'Not Medieval Mod' was simply waiting there for the taking. The 'Not Medieval Mod' should really be considered as a team effort because it combines the creativity of Prefab/POI creators, modelers, coders, and everything and everyone else that is required to release a full on mod. It provides a multitude of custom assets from game characters to a fully immersive environment. Here are a few images to demonstrate. Environment This images shows CP48 Medievil Village minimally customised for the 'NMM'. Beyond changing things like electric lights and other modern assets, the POIs stay totally true to the original creators concept. The player is riding on the Pegasus which is currently available after completing a Tier 4 end tier Quest. Entities There are Orcs and Goblins which are 'Bandit' class entities. They will attack players without hesitation. In early Game Stages they will be melee type and as you progress you will experience some with ranged weapons (crossbows and bows). They will appear in the Biomes and selective POIs during Quests. There are the Undead. These are a collection of 'Zombie' class entities. They will attack Players, Orcs and Goblins. However, some types of Orc and Golbin are also built into the Undead faction to help make Horde Night a more eclectic experience. There are the Friendlies. These consist of 'Survivors' and 'Hireable' classes. The Survivors are just trying to survive like regular players, while the hireables can be hired by players to assist you. You can build your own merry band of followers. There are also Mythical Beasts such as Dragons out there... And some giant Rats and Spiders are known to lurk around as well. Vehicles Players can gain a horse (kindly created by @Zilox) after completing a Quest Tier if they so desire. The Shaman Goblin. And that stick is not just for show... ^^ Weapons Players also have access to a variety of custom weapons: - Smite Thee Down type. These consist of hand held cutting, stabbing, and head cracking weapons. - Flintlock and Blunderbuss weapons. - Semi-automatic crossbows that hold 4 bolts at a time. - Speary things. These progress using their associated skill from Quality 2 - 6. They are integrated into the regular system but you'll see a little difference in name changes. @oakraven has been prolific in sharing assets with the NMM and had these weapons all ready and prepared well in advance. Traders There are also custom Traders which are piggybacking the regular traders and their unique traits. Rekt has become Baker, who is built into the NPCMod Core files and being put to full effect. He also sells roast chicken and provides two custom quests. And @Laz Man's older version of the Blacksmith POI has also been converted into its own Trader POI with an appropriate character from the NMM. Quests There are an abundance of Quests beyond regular Fetch and Clear. - One is automatically provided upon entering the game and after completing the 'Tutorial' stage. It gives Skill Points for completing a certain number of eliminations during Horde Night. Players who prefer not to have this automatic quest can delete it from their quest tree list. - One can be found in the player tool belt and starts an entity quest to eliminate the Undead faction. This has 5 quest stages and awards experience and skill points upon full completion. Others in this series can be purchased from Traders. - Another is also shared in the tool belt and offers a mixed quest of collect / craft / defend. This can also be purchased again from Traders. - Some Traders have their own specific side quests which only they will offer. The Main Quest - The Main Quest is one which requires visiting certain POIs in a certain order based on the scroll instructions. This quest is primarily designed for SP or smaller groups who share as a party. It is not designed for large communities or public servers. A starter scroll is found at a certain central POI (which can be found in multiple towns) and leads players on a sequential quest mission. These POIs and scrolls will not reset and once taken or complete are gone forever. However, a server admin using server admin tools can reset the specific POIs or region that they sit in to provide a 'loot respawn' equivalent which will then bring them back into place. The names can be provided to server admin on request but will not be publicly shared to avoid any spoiler disappointment. What else will you find? The Oakraven Forest Collection has been 'plundered' and incorporates the fish farming, bee hives, chicken coops, wells and and and... ^^ Here is the Read Me added into the mod which shows a list of Credits, without whom the NMM would not be possible. ================================================= == Not Medieval Mod for 7D2D is powered by 0-XNPCCore and 0-Score == ================================================= ASSETS: =============== === 1-NMMCore === =============== 1-NMMCore contains all of the base resource files and connected xml files. Submissions are made to the CP team and kept as intact as possible beyond carefully modifying for quality and performance. The beauty of the CP is that it is very welcoming and open to all submissions and supports over 1000 Prefabs. A20 further diversified Worlds with a Tiling system and Stallionsden and team have carefully created themed tiles. Check them out here: The Medievil Village is one of the themed tile sets and consists of 31 community made Prefabs that have been updated or submitted for A20. All of the Prefabs keep their original names. However, the Sleeper Volumes, some internal assets, and tags have been changed to match the theme and avoid conflict where the originals are installed. Prefab creators from Z - A include: Zyncosa WormPie WildPig Vitamin E 'Unknown' Tom TehKarmah SirLoachalot Riahsaurus Rex PVWolfgang Pashmina Midnight Peach Libby Laz man Guppycur Ericbeaudoin Eko Eihwaz Ataxia78 arramus Additional POI submissions for CP49 are joining Medievil Village Modded. Prefab creators from Z - A include: Shema Redzero83 Magoli OPTIONAL SETTING By default NMM has no food spoilage system. However, it is hooked up to allow it and this can be easily turned on to increase the challenge. - Step 1. Go inside your '1-NMMCore / Config folder and open the blocks.xml file. - Step 2. On Line 4 you can see this code line. <set xpath="/blocks/block[@name='ConfigFeatureBlock']/property[@class='FoodSpoilage']/property[@name='FoodSpoilage']/@value">false</set> (may say true at the end depending on your version) Change the false to true to turn on food spoilage. Change the true to false to turn off food spoilage. KNOWN QUIRKS/ISSUES/EXPLOITS - The NPCs are not governed by low level protection rules and initial spawning may be met with a hostile or friendly interaction. Response: Run to a safer place, ideally close to a friendly who will attack the hostile by default. - The NPCs sometimes pause, disappear, do not follow requests promptly, attack too much, or show other odd actions. Response: They are what they are, and as good as it gets for now, which is actually very functional and adds immersion. For major issues, report in the NPCMod thread. - Quests are not registering kills. Response: Has been reported to the developers in the previous comment thread. - Fetch quests can be exploited. Response: Place the fetch items in your inventory before handing in to the trader. This exploit can be both beneficial and negative depending on the sequence. This uses a built in game quest feature and will hopefully get resolved in the future. - It is not possible to open some crates when a light/object is placed above or under it. Response: This requires some changes to the models and will be resolved in due course.
  3. Misery Business This modpack doesn't really add anything new, but instead adjusts existing features to make surviving harder and the player think more about their actions. The player character isn't as fitted for the survival whereas zombies are more fierce than before. Items aren't often as effective as they used to be and many buffs have been weakened. Traders require more quests to advance and the rewards are usually worse. Overall, things are looking quite a bit more miserable. Due to the nature of this modpack, it is completely server-side and consists only of XML files. It is also divided into three parts: items, player and zombies. These let you easily decide which part(s) of the changes you want into your game. The mod is still very much in progress when it comes to balancing, so voice your feedback below! Download the mod here! Some of the main modifications for items include: Reduced mod slots Reduced mod economic value increase and made it %-based instead Reduced healing values across the board Reduced duration and intensity of various medical items Lowered food, water and health gains on most, if not all, foods and drinks Added dysentery chance to canned food Revamped infection, giving debuffs at 10%, 20%, 35%, 50% and 75% Some of the main modifications for the player include: Lower movement speed Lower stamina and health regeneration Higher food and water consumption Lower carrying capacity (before being encumbered) Increased the effect of wetness Some of the main modifications for quests include: Raised the amount of quests needed for a tier completion Lowered the duke and exp rewards from quests Lowered the amount of choices in tier completion rewards Lowered the chance to get higher quality items as rewards Reduced the amount of ammo gained as rewards Some of the main modifications for zombies include: Removed knockdown completely Increased feral sense range Increased pain resist and movement speeds Increased max health and radiated health regen. Increased chance of inflicting a debuff Decreased exp.

  6. Tested with A20 White River - Tools of Citizenship - A20 * Also now supports Darkness Falls through the use of a compatibility modlet. (Darkness Fallas compatibility is not yet working in A20) Now with Multiple Languages Localization/Support: English, German, French, Iitalian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish The White River settlements are looking for new citizens to contribute and are willing to give extra tools and equipment that they've collected. They are offering to provide to a select few survivors access to higher quality tools, weapons, armor, and equipment in exchange for volunteering to complete various tasks for the settlement. There is a limited supply and these items are only available to those who gain citizenry with White River settlements. In addition to the reward, the player is sometimes also offered a small stack of wet concrete blocks, from the last of the Trader's community inventory to assist in re-establishing a homestead. ---- This modlet collection extends the new player White River citizenship quest line to provide some quests to obtain improved tools, weapons, and armor. Each item has a small back-story and explanation in an attempt to blend with the vanilla game and Trader. This gives players a chance to obtain better equipment through a method other than randomness or traditional progression. The rewards this modlet pack provides were carefully considered against Vanilla gameplay. In most cases, the named items only provide a small improvement over the items they were created from. The duke and experience rewards are in-line with vanilla quests, and across all quests and tiers in this modlet pack only a handful of skillpoints are offered and only on the highest complexity quests. Due to the multi-tier design of this modlet collection, it provides equipment for beginners all the way up through the elite. **This modlet pack is XML XPath ONLY and only needs to be installed on the server or player hosting the game! Other players do not need to install this modlet pack locally.** The modlet collection provides multi-tier quest lines. Once the new player reaches the trader, they are given a +Declaration of Citizenship item. This allows them to begin a quest to volunteer to help lay to rest 10 old residents now turned zombie. This earns the player a +White River Citizenship Card which they can then use to select which quest they would like to pursue. The player's citizenship card is returned to them after they complete the settlement's quest. If it is lost for any reason, the player may start this quest again as a Tier 1 Trader quest, and also can randomly find a +White River Citizenship Card on zombie loot bags. -- Citizenship is offered in three-tiers: - Tier 1 : Kill 10 Zombies. This is the Basic level of citizenship. Reward: +White River Citizenship Card - Tier 3 : Kill 100 Zombies. This is the Veteran level of citizenship. This is started as a Tier 3 Trader quest. Reward: +White River Veteran Citizenship Card - Tier 5 : Kill 1000 Zombies. This is the Elite level of citizenship. This is started as a Tier 5 Trader quest. Reward: +White River Elite Citizenship Card Once the player obtains their citizenship card, they can use this to craft quest-starter items for the equipment quests below. Some of the quests below offer a veteran version which rewards better quality, more items, and greater quantity of each multi-quantity item. Some offer an even higher level set of rewards for elite citizens. After a "Veteran" quest is complete, the Trader keeps your Veteran Citizenship Card, requiring you to complete the Tier 3 Trader quest again to obtain a new Veteran Citizenship Card. However, after an "Elite" quest is complete, an Elite Citizenship Card is returned. QUEST LISTING: VEHICLES: - Amelia's Gyrocopter - Discover the truth of what happened to Amelia Earhart. 8. Most of the modlets in this group are very tiny and not that useful for most people. I created them as one-offs and learning exercises usually due to a thread in General Discussion. However, Boid's Stealth Logging might have some utility for anyone trying to understand sleeper volumes and zombie targeting. It will log the following: Player enters a sleeper volume 'Attack' sleeper volume zombies' checks to 'see' the player Enemy targets player Enemy stops targeting player Enemy approaches spot (due to noise) Enemy approaches distraction (thrown rock/snowball) I found it pretty informative when investigating just how attack sleeper volumes work. Not recommended for normal play and definitely not with large #s of spawns around. It doesn't spam the console every tick, but it can write a lot of info if there are a dozen zombies near you all trying to find you. Boid's Stealth Logging is not EAC compatible; the other modlets are just XML so they ought to be fine. Boid's A20 Modlets
  9. Vampiricon's DAY of the DEAD mod pack for 7 Days to Die V19.6 Inspired by George Romero's awesome trilogy: Night of the Living Dead / Dawn of the Dead / Day of the Dead * version 4.1 now available * When there is no more room in Hell - the Dead will Walk the Earth ! The intent of this mod is to create a George Romero Day of the Dead zombie world with a much higher population of regular zombies. Burnt zombies, Spider zombies, Animal Zombies, and other zombie types that do not fit the Romero-world have been removed. The overall population and variety of regular zombies has been substantially increased, with growing zombie Hordes occurring every 4 hours. In the Romero tradition, you will need to focus on taking them out with headshots, since they are more resistant to damage elsewhere. You will have plenty of extra firepower, with an armada of over 60 new weapons and 30 new vehicles, as well as increased chances of finding ammo and explosive munitions. Each new player is given a Starter Crate with guns, ammo and supplies to help survive the first few days. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- YES this mod is compatible with SMX UI - download the available patch from the Files section. The game will still work fine without the patch. But the patch allows you to see the 3 additional menu options (Land Claims, Max Zombies, Max Animals) which are not available in SMX. SMX UI is highly recommended. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You will most likely need to start a new game with this mod. Saved games for DOTD V3.1 and prior will not work. Tested on Alpha 19.6. Fully compatible with LAN and Internet multi-play. Fully compatible with Client installations and Dedicated Server installations. Does not work with EAC Enabled. You must disable EAC in the 7DTD Launcher. NO this mod will NOT work with other major overhauls like Darkness Falls or War of the Walkers. View the Installation file for specific instructions. The mod must be installed manually. There is a separate Install for Clients and Dedicated Servers. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Download Links: Client Install for V19.6 : https://drive.google.com/file/d/14thJNL7GI2q6KFsizYxIbe7TOwctRo_r/view?usp=sharing Fully tested and working. Dedicated Install (BETA) for 19.6: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1glJE_UHQUuQeHgiAdh4G2_Qnen7Wffuf/view?usp=sharing NOTE: Dedicated Install not fully tested. Please let me know if you have any issues. SMX Patch : https://drive.google.com/file/d/13x8XJP9tpBHiqoaiOE_9rwEJqHChKoVx/view?usp=sharing Use this patch if you use SMX UI. Day of the Dead is fully compatible with SMX. This patch simply allows you to see the 3 extra menu options (Land Claims, Max Zombies, Max Animals). Key Features of Mod Pack: There is a major overhaul to the zombie population so it is more like a George Romero world.George Romero zombies do not run or scale vertical walls like insects. They shamble, they walk, they jog, they can move a bit quicker when aggressive. But not sprint or run. This mod purposely moves away from the zombies you find in 28 Days Later or World War Z.Zombies can only be killed by headshot or smashing the head or by extreme damage to the body. And most of all, they are found in large numbers, to slowly but surely swarm and surround you.....Zombies that do not fit Day of the Dead have been removed: - Burnt zombies- Spider zombies- Fat Cop zombies- Wight zombies- Animal zombiesGeneral zombie population is increased by a factor of 7X and more variety has been added to all Biomes and Zombie Groups. - There are a lot more regular zombies in Cities, Towns, Villages, POIs, and all Wilderness areas.- Much more variety has been added to zombie groups, so that more zombie types appear across the different biomes. - There is a small chance of encountering Feral, Radiated and Legendary zombies in early stages for added challenge.Wandering Horde settings:- Wandering Hordes will start from midnight on Day 2 to give you a little breathing room.- Wandering hordes start at 10 zombies on Level 1 and gradually increase as the Game Stage increases. - By Game Stage 50 you will reach 25 zombies per horde.- By Game Stage 150 you will reach 50 zombies per horde. - Hordes will then increase by 5 zombies every 100 Game Stages until it peaks at 75 zombies.- As the Game Stage increases further you will get more Feral, Radiated and Legendary zombies in the Horde.- Horde Frequency is still every 3 hours.- The game's AI director can be hit-and-miss with Horde generation. - The Horde may find you or it might just miss you or may not appear at all. It can vary. - It depends what you are doing, your heat map, whether your location has changed, or how noisy you are. - Sometimes the Horde will be instructed to wait 1 hr, sometimes 12 hours, and sometimes will not appear at all.Zombie jump distance has been slightly increased. - Zombies can climb ladders, climb each other, and jump a little higher. - They can stack on top of each other to reach areas 3 or 4 zombies high. - They can actually reach quite high places and roof areas, refer to the mod screen shots for examples. - Spider zombies that scale high vertical walls have been removed. Feral and Radiated zombies still start appearing as the Game Stage and difficulty increase, but they have been modified. Difficulty progression tier is still Normal --> Feral --> Radiated --> LegendaryFeral zombies:- Health, Aggression speed burst and Pain Resistances have been lowered. - Consequently the Experience Earned is also reduced. - Still tougher than Normal zombies and more experience earnt. Radiated zombies:- Their regeneration capability has been removed, so they no longer heal on their own. - They still heal if they bite you.- No longer appear in a radiated mesh. - They will either have green glowing eyes only (about 30% of the models allow for separate eye mesh) - or just look like Ferals with orange eyes (for the remainder) - Health, Aggression Speed burst, and Pain Resistances have been lowered. - Consequently the Experience Earned is also reduced. - Still tougher than Feral zombies and more experience earnt. - Legendary zombies:- Added into the general population for later game stages.- There are three: Legendary Lab zombie Legendary Business Man zombie Legendary Utility Worker zombie- These are higher challenge zombies to replace zombies like the Fat Cop and Wight which have been removed. In true Romero tradition - Zombies only take full damage from headshots. - You can still slow them down, knock them over, knock them back, burn them, dismember limbs, and even kill them through body damage. But they are much more resistant and take minimal damage to the body unless dismembered. - You will only get full value for weapon damage through headshots. - If you get a clean head shot you have a high possibility of the head exploding for an instant kill. - You also get a 200% bonus to your starting dismemberment chance for all weapons. There are lots of additional guns and ammunition available to assist you. - Over 60 new military weapons including pistols, shotguns, rifles and SMGs. - 2 flamethrowers, wide and narrow bursts.- New Concussion grenades, shock grenades, shock arrows and show bolts.- Significant improvements to automated gun Turrets.- Junk Turrets easier to craft. - Junk Turrets have increased range, coverage and awake distance.- Deploy up to 6 active Junk Turrets. 1 to start with (find the recipe!) and gain an extra 5 via Robotics Inventor skill.- 4 new automated Turret types (including M60 and Sniper variants) built from a separate Turret Workbench. When starting a new game, players will have a Starter Crate filled with gear to help you get started. 1 Rifle with 600 rounds of ammo 1 Pistol with 100 rounds of ammo 4 Molotov's 2 Concussion Grenades, Shock Grenades, and Dynamite Sticks. 5 Repair kits Random Medical and Food supplies All players receive the following bonuses by default. Bonus damage for clean head shots with increased chance of the head exploding. This will stack with existing Perks/Skills. 200% bonus increase to base Dismemberment chances. This will stack with existing Perks/Skills and impacts ALL weapon types. The base level experience required to go up a level has been increased from 10000 to 15000 due to all the extra zombies. Otherwise you will level too quickly and experience stronger zombies before you are ready. The following existing explosive ordinance have been tweaked to be more effective against zombies in DOTD. - Entity damage has been increased with additional head damage bonus. - Explosive radius has also been slightly increased. So try not to blow yourself up.- Rockets - HE and Frag - Grenade - Contact and Timed - Dynamite - Molotovs - PipebombsNumerous other enhancements: - 2 skill points per level instead of 1. - HUD updated to display Health, Food, Water, Temperature, Elevation, Zombie kill counter and Death counter. - Multiple Land Claims (selectable from Game Start menu). - Reduced night ambience to make it darker, with medium layer of fog. Slightly darker inside. - Added 26 new vehicles. - Added 4 new motorcycles. - Added 60 slot backpack. - Added craftable log spikes. - All animals and animal zombies removed except Rabbits and Chickens which are basically invulnerable. - Raw animal materials now available from all Traders. - Added ability to pick up plants with E. - Additional craftable doors. - Additional decorations. - Added Iron Gates. - Added Paintings and Posters. Zombie Speed and Number Settings You can still configure the zombie speeds and numbers as you desire. But for a Day of the Dead experience, recommended settings are provided. This basically means no running zombies, as you find in 28 Days Later and World War Z. These settings are all found on the Basic tab when you start a game. For servers you have to configure these settings in the serverconfig.XML. Recommended Settings: Zombie Day Speed WALK Zombie Night Speed JOG Feral Zombie Speed JOG Blood Moon Zombie Speed JOG or RUN Maximum Zombies 100 - 150 Maximum Animals 25 Blood Moon is available. You can turn it on or off as desired. I turn it on for a little bit of variety in the Gameplay - and set the Zombie speed to RUN only on Blood Moon night. All zombie speeds are available (Walk, Jog, Run, Sprint, Nightmare) But recommended settings are provided above for a Day of the Dead experience. There is a reminder on the Menu screen when you play the game. What is new in Version 4.1 ? - Updated for 7DTD V19.6 compatibility. - Added Sam's Special Ammo (Shock Grenade, Concussion Grenade, Shock Arrow, Shock Bolt). - They have also been added to Loot Tables and Zombie Drops. - Added Doughphunghus's buff sounds which provides additional zombie noises. - Enhanced Pipe Bombs to be more effective against zombies. - Updated the Starter Kit. - Changed starting Rifle to ACW-R, and starting Pistol to P226 for variety. - Added 2 each of the new concussion and shock grenades. - Added 2 sticks of dynamite. - Added compatibility patch for SMX Menu UI so that you can see the additional settings: - Land Claim Count / Max Zombies / Max Animals - They have been added to the general tab - Changed Wandering Hordes from every 4 hours back to every 3 hours. - Wandering Hordes are very hit-and-miss. Sometimes they spawn, sometimes they do not. Sometimes they wait 1 hour and sometimes 12 hours. - KhaineGB is aware of the issue and is looking into it. - Increased wilderness spawns from 5X back to the original 7X since you now have more chance to find Guns & Ammo & Explosives. - Proportional increase to the Ammunition amounts found in Loot and Zombie Drops to balance the additional zombies.* For a full history on changes, refer to the Version History TXT file. It is protected like a normal trader, but can not be used for quests Motorcycles Introduced by MOO:Chopper Sports Bike Harley Dirt Bike Detailed Junk Turret Modifications: You can have up to 6 Junk Turrets working concurrently (requires perkTurrets skill for robotics). You can use 1 Turret to start with (if you find the recipe) and 1 extra Turret per robotics level (perkTurrets). Improved accuracy. Firing range increased from 15 to 30 metres. Angle of fire increased from 70 degrees to 120 degrees for larger coverage (horizontal and vertical). Magazine size set to 2000 rounds. For the Robotics Inventor skill, the range at which Turrets remain awake has been pushed. From (10,14,15,16,17,18) blocks to (30,34,38,42,46,50) blocks. Recipes have been included to make it very easy to craft the Turrets and the ammo for them. There is also a very simple recipe for a Workbench. None of these require a schematic but you will need Robotics Inventor skills to have 5 extra Turrets. Changes to Animal Population:I have decided to remove the animal butchery part of the game, so you can focus on zombie killing instead.I am not interested in that side of the game, I play to shoot zombies not kill helpless animals. All animals have been replaced by a standard zombie, except Rabbits and Chickens which are basically invulnerable and offer no experience for killing. To compensate, animal raw materials are now available from the Traders at any time for purchase, as well as you starter kit. Compatibility with other mods: The mod is largely designed as a stand-alone pack. However you should be able to use other mods, depending on what the MOD does: Any mod that adds new features should be fine Any mod that adjusts things that I do not adjust should also be OK You should avoid using any of the mods that are already used within this pack, as this will potentially cause conflict. This mod does change things in relation to entitygroups, entityclasses, spawning, blocks and several other XML files. The changes mostly relate to zombie behavior, zombie numbers, zombie types, etc. There are also a number of minor UI adjustments. I would avoid anything that adjusts zombie behavior mainly.Otherwise, use discretion and keep an eye on the log (F1) for compatibility issues during loading. With vanilla 19.5 and my mod installed, there are no errors in the log during start up.You may see Mesh/Map related errors *just* prior to entering the game but these are nothing to do with my mod.Any mods that do a major overhaul of gameplay are likely **not** to be compatible either. This includes overhauls like Darkness Falls and War of the Walkers.>> Feedback is that the SMX UI mod works OK <<Endorsements: This mod has been made for your enjoyment - no profit. However if you enjoy playing this mod, please endorse. Any allocated % of the overall donation pool will go to the Wildlife Conservation Society. Many thanks!Credits: Below are the packs I have utilised in the Day of the Dead mod. It is recommended that you clear out any existing mods to start with. Do not use any of the above mods listed in the credits. Modified versions are included with this pack. Bugs and Feedback:Feedback welcome. Please report any bugs.FAQ:How do I install this MOD? Download the appropriate MOD file - CLIENT or DEDICATED SERVER. If you are using a DEDICATED SERVER install then use the DEDICATED SERVER installation. For all other instances (SINGLE PLAYERS / LAN or NETWORK PLAYERS ) use the CLIENT installation. Is this mod pack compatible with existing Save Games? The short answer is no - If you have never used the Sphere II core mod before then you will have to start a New Game / New World. If you upgrade to DOTD V3.2 from an older version then you will also have to start a New Game. It is also recommended that once you start playing - you keep your Saved Games associated with this mod.Does this mod support multiplayer? Yes. This mod fully-supports multiplayer. For dedicated server installs, you need to install the Server version of the mod. Everyone involved in the game must manually install the files first: Clients and Dedicated Servers. Can I run this on a dedicated server installation? Yes. Install the Dedicated Server version of this mod instead. Is this mod pack compatible with other mods? This mod pack is largely designed as a stand-alone pack. You should avoid using any of the mods that are used within this pack. Since I have modified most of the 3rd party mods I have used, you should use the versions provided here. This mod pack changes things in relation to entitygroups, entityclasses, spawing, blocks and many other files. So you should avoid mods that change zombie behaviour, zombie numbers, zombie types, junk turrets, etc. Any mods that do a major overhaul of gameplay are likely **not** to be compatible either. --> It will not work with overhauls like Darkness Falls and War of the Walkers. <-- HOWEVER If you are using other mods that add new things, and do not fiddle with the above, then you should be fine. If you are using my mod pack alone you will see NO ERRORS in F1 as the game loads, except for the map/mesh errors that are shown right before you start. These are not due to this mod, but the map you are using, and nothing to worry about. If you do see errors, this is most likely because you are using a conflicting MOD or you are not on the correct version of 7DTD.What files are modified during installation? 10. Tested with A19.3 & A19.4Exp Neopolitan - A Collection Modlet - A19.3 - Neopolitan, because who eats just the vanilla? What exactly IS a Collection Modlet? This is a term some others on the 7DTD Official Discord helped me formulate. A collection modlet is a single modlet that is combined from the code of many other modlets. What is this Neopolitan modlet? This Collection Modlet should be considered Vanilla+, and contains the combined code of over 100 modlets from a wide variety of authors. This modlet collection is the same one I use on my server and all are tested, error & warning free, and work well together. The specific list of modlets is outlined below. These modlets are selected for their Quality of Life (QoL) improvements over vanilla game play. There are no rainbow zombies, instant crafting, super-powerful weapons, or substantial changes to game play. Anyone familiar with and who enjoys playing the vanilla game would be able to play this collection comfortably. I'm confident after playing this collection, you'll find many or most of the modlets near-requirements for any future games you play. What if I don't want ALL the modlets included? With this Neopolitan collection modlet, I'll also provide a zipfile download where you can download all the modlets broken out individually in their original form. This will allow you to remove an individual mod from the collection. With over 100 Modlets included, how do you keep this updated to each author's newest changes? I wrote a set of scripts that downloads the newest modlet code for each of the modlets and automatically compiles them all together to create this collection modlet (and the associated zip file with all the mods separated). This way, I offload the task to each author to keep their modlet updated or improved. What about fixes you've implemented for broken modlets? Some of the modlets I used in this collection modlet were either broken, had errors, or otherwise needed tuned to match the rest of the modlets in this pack. For these, I do keep a separate branched set of code for the modlet that contains the modified code. There are only a handful (17 at the time of this writing) that fall into this category. Credits All credits go to each original mod author. Most modders learn to create their own modlets by looking at the work of others. In some cases, code is copied to create a new modlet. Due to this, each modder is essentially standing on the shoulders of other authors. Most in the modding community, myself included, welcome others to look at how a modlet was created and to use this code to any extent, provided that credit is provided back to the author whose work yours is based off of. In the spirit of this community, I've notated each author and always ensure to retain the original author's information. This collection is meant to be nothing more than what it claims to be: A collection of my own and other people's hard work put together in a single zip file to make it easy for players and server administrators to easy install our work into their games. 11. >>> Click Here to Download <<< >>> Alternative download link <<< CC_Left4Dead version 1.0 A collection of locales from Left 4 Dead, remade as 7DtD POIs. by 'Crater Creator' Last tested in A19.6 b8 There are two zombie games that, by a wide margin, I've played more than others. One is 7 Days to Die, and the other is Left 4 Dead 2. Like The Walking Dead and other series, Left 4 Dead has become a beloved classic of modern zombie fiction in its own right. This made it an easy choice to use as a source of locations to adapt to 7 Days to Die. For the 1.0 release, I've focused on locations from Death Toll, my favorite Left 4 Dead 2 campaign. The pack currently includes 10 POIs: Tier 5 DTDowntown: an extra large conglomerate of Riverside's downtown buildings, reassembled into a creative yet familiar dungeon crawl Tier 4 DTTunnel: a largely underground journey through Death Toll's first two rounds, including the road tunnel, sewers/waterworks, and Hersch Shipping Company Tier 2 DTChurch: Riverside's local church and adjacent cemetery. The L4D Survivors used it as a safe room after defeating 'church guy' and the horde he called with the church's bell. Tier 1 DTCabin: a creepy forest cabin on the outskirts of Riverside DTQuikBuy: a convenience store, just across the street from the church in Riverside DTBoatHouse: a small riverfront building, where the survivors held out before John and Amanda Slater rescued them by boat Non-Questable DTTower DTBungalow DTPavilion DTRiverCabin All POIs are configured to work in RWG. They use all vanilla game assets and should work with other mods. They're meant to closely match the originals in terms of aesthetics, with changes to pathing, loot balance, and other gameplay as needed, especially to create entertaining 'dungeon crawls' in the questable POIs. This collection may expand as time allows. Not all memorable/distinctive locations would work well as standalone 7DtD POIs, but others are viable. To install, simply move the CC_Left4Dead folder into your 7 Days to Die installation's Mods folder. Lastly, I love feedback! Put it right here.
