  1. Any news on this bug? Have now updated to A20.5 b2 Stable and am still unable to find my server when searching. Just to clarify: 1) I run a dedicated server from a dedicated computer sitting next to my gaming machine. 2) Before you changed the game search system, myself and my friends had no issues finding my server from within and outside my network - now we can't find it no matter what we try. I have added the new entries to serverconfig.xml as per the release notes. 3) I'm not sure if there is any logs that would help diagnose the problem? 4) Specs of the server are: Intel 6 Core CPU, 32 GB RAM Windows Server 2012 R2 5) Specs of gaming machine: Intel 4 Core 7700K 4.2 GHz 32 GB RAM GeFore RTX 2080 Super Windows 7 (Don't even say it, I like Windows 7 and 7 Days runs flawlessly on it). Any help with this problem would be appreciated!

  3. Hi, Have been running own dedicated server for a long time now with minimal problems. After updating to A20.4 b42 Stable (Server and all clients) through Steam, am no longer able to find server when searching. I have updated my serverconfig.xml as per release notes adding region and language. Makes no difference. None of my friends who play regularly can see the server either. Worked perfectly before update. Output log file here:
  4. I think I may have found the solution to the issue. It's related to the 'EOS' cross platform support. I have disabled this without making any other changes and the server loads perfectly now. Please see my posts on Steam: https://steamcommunity.com/app/251570/discussions/1/3196990234723309250/ And the post with the solution here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/251570/discussions/1/3196991412350791021/

  6. Game Version: Alpha 20 (b238) Compatibility Version: Alpha 20, Build: Windows 64 Bit Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows 8.1 (6.3.0) 64bit CPU Model: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8500 CPU @ 3.00GHz (cores: 6) System Memory: 32638 MB GPU Model and VRAM: Null Device (128 MB) Screen Resolution: 1920 x 1080 (running in headless mode - dedicated server) Video Settings: N/A (running in headless mode - dedicated server) Game mode: MP host Did you wipe old saves? No - Generated new random world in A20 client, copied world files to dedicated second computer and updated serverconfig.xml to point to new world. Did you start a new game? Yes Did you validate your files? Yes Are you using any mods? No EAC on or off? On Status: NEW Bug Description: Played on current hardware/software environment for 400+ hours on A19.6 with no major issues, now updated to A20 created new world and pointed to new world in serverconfig.xml and server closes immediately after start. Crash log included. Log included the below line: ERR [EOS] Native library or one of its dependencies not found (e.g. no Microsoft Visual C Redistributables 2022) I have already successfully updated C++ to 2022 and this line still appears in log file? Am I missing another dependancy? Have also tried a default serverconfig.xml and same result. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug: 1) Update to A20 and try to run the server. 2) Didn't really change any other configurations since the server last worked. 3) Another note is it doesn't seem to matter what world settings I choose, always get the same crash. Actual result: Server opens and immediately closes. Expected result: Server to open and load my pre-generated random world. ======map_info.xml====== <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <MapInfo> <property name="Scale" value="1" /> <property name="HeightMapSize" value="10240,10240" /> <property name="Modes" value="Survival,SurvivalSP,SurvivalMP,Creative" /> <property name="FixedWaterLevel" value="false" /> <property name="RandomGeneratedWorld" value="true" /> <property name="GameVersion" value="Alpha.20.0.238" /> <property name="GenerationSeed" value="CM3HY26VYW6JRYCX66GXJVY2D" /> </MapInfo> ====== Log Below======
