  1. I think that the casuals players of the game doesn't even know that something happened and probably never will know. Or care.
  2. Was just a joke. Yeah, I know that I'm not particularly funny, but still like to try. Now, talking seriously for a minute, having a toggle like the one for the player inventory would be absolutely lovely. Particularly for those daredevils that love speed! (A vehicle mod for extra HP would be nice too!) And shame that one can't put parkour points into the gyro to make it survive bigger falls! 😅
  3. Well, being realistic here, if you slam your gyro into a building, the last of your concern will be your things in the trunk. 😅
  4. I want a super baton like the one that the "TRAITOR!!" stormtrooper uses in EP VII. Combining the badass handling of the pipe baton and the shock of the stun baton.
  5. JaWoodle has the spear because he bought on the trader. My experience in two games is much more close to JaWoodle than IzPrebuild. But I think than in my first game it took me longer to get the sniper rifle. I'm enjoying the slower pace. Yeah, sometimes a wild trader reward or air-drop loot kinda shakes everything with OPness. But it's not than common.
  6. I'm playing my second A21 game, since I wanted to see if the experience was kinda similar to the first one. I'm not noticing much difference. I'm in the third in game week. In the main weapon magazines, I'm rolling with a crafted T5 stun baton, and I'm almost reaching the T5 robotic turret. On the secondary weapons, I just reached T5 AK-47, but didn't crafted it, since I got early a bundle from an air drop that gave me a T5 AK. Thinking about crafting a T1 Tactical to see the difference. In armor, I put a point in heavy armor pretty late, around the second horde time, and just reached iron armor. But I got lucky with the trader rewards and have a T4 steel helmet and a T4 military boots. Gonna craft the other parts when I reach T3 iron, to not lose all the mod slots. The medical and food magazines are slowly getting there, not too fast. But I didn't had any points here, only got to physician 1 because I sprained my leg in a POI and wanted the insta-cure. The tools, in this game I got some luck and got a T5 steel axe, no luck with any pickaxe, so gonna need to craft one iron pickaxe. In my first game I had to craft all the set of T5 tools. So far, so good. I'm having a bit more luck this time with the rewards than in my first game. Particularly those armor drops. In my first one, since two T6 scrap armor pieces, I never got any better than what I crafted, all the way into full T5 steel. And at day 71, still rolling with T5 crafted things, since I never found any T6. I think that they could make so in the container that drop weapons magazine, there's an extra chance to get an additional magazine, so you don't end with a weapon leveling fast and others lagging behind.
  7. I already can't find T6 for my dear life. If they would add item degradation... *shudders* Count me as the one seaching for a mod to disable it immediately.
  8. I hope that they do not speed up crafting too much, I'm loving the slow pace. I don't even care if I don't find almost, except scrap armor and iron tools, until day 70.
  9. I wonder if it's possible to make triggers to activate when the player enter a determinate radious. That way zombies will spawn no matter from where the player is coming.
  10. If I have the resources, I craft. Except when I almost on the next tier, like if I missing a few magazines to unlock a better one. That's with the new rebalance of weapons. With armors usually wait to lvl 3 and then jump to lvl 5.
  11. If people like to use those things, more power for them. As long as they are having fun... But personally I don't bother with weird things. Usually either reinforce my base and build some part as horde base (which cost me dearly in A20 with the fire spread mod installed) or I just build something, usually a plataform with several stairs to slow them down and which unite near me. Or if I'm using rifles, a long plataform with hurdles. One of my favorites was when I fortified the entrance of the old prision. Was fun when the zombies started to rain from the towers... opsie!!
  12. I haven't tried yet, because I want to finish my two games first. But I think that Sam's mods have the craftable doors. Is a shame that we don't have them craftable. I would love another workstation, maybe carpenter table or something, where you can craft nice things. Yeah, I survive in the apocalypse, but I want to LIVE! And with SYTLE!!
  13. You got hit in the leg, fell, used you arm to mitigate the fall and broken it. And the vulture broke you leg because the vulture are some sons of their mothers and do whatever they want. FAQ vultures!
  14. Doesn't work like the other workstations? You should be able to move them if you bring the contextual menu (keeping pressing a key... R I think?), as long as the workstation is on the land claim block radious.
  15. I don't like that kind of overgeneralization. Only because you are old that doesn't make an excellent gamer. Otherwise I would be a magnificent player, and I'm only a grumpy old player that sucks in most games. Anyways, the tutorial is in need of an update, true. It would be nice to be told about how to drink water from the water sources and the dew collectors, and the magazine system.
  16. Except when you spend more ammo than the ammo you get as reward. Damn, rad bikers and rad soldier, those are serious bullet sponges!
  17. I mean that you must unequip any tool/weapon and stare the water for two seconds. I saw people trying to get the correct angle, or trying to figure why the prompt to drink water doesn't appear. And speaking of new people, probably starting with a trader in the middle of nowhere maybe would not be very fun for a new player.
  18. Can't be worse that the ARK first experience. Getting eaten by a raptor. Killed a Dodo! Getting eaten by a raptor. I'm dying of hunger! A dodo!! Nvm, got eaten by a raptor. But, what I think that will be bad for new players is the delay to be able to drink water from sources. How they are supposed to know that? Needs to be a step in the tutorial quests.
  19. He will deal damage to the zombies and emotional damage to himself!
  20. I don't know if possible but would be nice to spawn the zombies when the player reach certain radious from the trigger. That way would take in account players not going the obvious path. (Yeah, I'm dumb, I missed a stair in the correctional and had to parkour into a truck and the roof to find the last zombies). And of course, they should spawn sleeping, not alerted. This way stealth player can do their thing. (My thing right now is running screaming like a little girl and once some of the zombies get stuck or lost me, deal with the rads that are always behind of me).
  21. I keep doing quest, because I like questing, and as I said before the quest rewards, traders inventory weren't particularly stellar. All in the forest biome. For 55 days. After that I moved to the desert to find greener pastures... not literally, of course. So, seems to be pure wild RNG.
  22. So, DA isn't even a factor then. This sounds quite complicated to balance. Hope they manage and can find an happy medium.
  23. You have points in Daring Adventurer? Because I only put 1 point in it, and playing as spears as day 60 had to craft every single spear that I used because I never found in trader or loot a better one than the ones that I could craft. I only found a T5 steel spear on day 59, and obviously was worse than my current spear. Same for the armor, all crafted. I found a nice rifle early, but now I replaced with crafted one. Is pretty crazy how the RNG can be so wildy different. I keep wondering if DA or LL is a big factor. This sounds like a real headache to balance if you ask me.
