  1. I find that with the Nitro maps too. I think that's my favorite thing to do in a new map, is hunt for the perfect spot to build a home base.
  2. Yeah I don't know what it is about this game, but I am obsessed. I really like taking destroyed places and making them "alive" again. I hope the devs expand on that. I think it speaks to a lot of people.
  3. That is really cool-looking. I only get them during the day. Thanks for the image!
  4. How about a powerful Zombie that once it sees you, or maybe gets a swipe of your blood, will never stop chasing you. It moves very very slow, but you never quite know if/when it will catch you in the long run. (Perhaps while looting a building a few weeks later you see them ambling along the road toward you once again...) Or it sends minions after you as well. It makes staying in the same place more difficult, the need to always be aware of the immediate area, and sneaking to get away, when they catch up to you more relevant.
  5. That is really cool! I always want to build my places near the mountains/snow too.
  6. Nice! This is so creative. I love the heart throne.
  7. Ok well, that's good to know for the future. They will freak out if I reset the base. I'm the only one who cares about the light style anyway.
  8. The problem is that I can't seem to import the light and place it. I can create a world and edit a world and start a new game, but I haven't been able to figure out how to edit a game currently in progress. I can get into DM mode, but when I press "k" nothing happens and I'm not able to access or place any of the prefabs I made or edited. I think something changed with Alpha 19 and some of the tutorials on this stuff doesn't apply. Or I'm just confused haha.
  9. I know that it would be really hard to implement, but I would LOVE having the ability to create way more zombie hoards, on the level of They are Billions. That would be epic. And I think your "Scrap Zombie" idea is amazing. It would be annoying in game to have to overcome them, but make a lot of sense, kind of like wild magic in DnD.
  10. It would add to the ambiance of the game perfectly. Then again I can no longer play SIMs because the first time I played I recreated my RL family and accidentally burned them all down within the first hour of playing. So... maybe not. Granted I was more pissed off at the game mechanics than the burning of my family, but still. Like others, I love the idea, but if it puts this fine game in danger of being banned or attacked by Karens then I'll live without it.
  11. No worries and thanks! This whole thing started because I wanted to figure out how to place and turn on some of the POI lights in my friend's base. I still can't import the light but hey Stardew Valley! Now I'm trying to mess with the topography and streets of maps created with Nitrogen to create the SDV setting. I will definitely check out the farm mod. I also really want to see if I can create my own mod if the other's don't quite fit what I'm looking for. Either way I'm having a blast and learning a lot. Thanks for all of your input!
  12. My best rendition of what the farm land and the house would look like on day one of Spring 1. Looking at it this way, it made me realize how shady the farm must be on day one with all of those trees everywhere (not pictured here, I'm still working on the borders and the two lakes on the property). And here is the inside. It's slightly more cramped than the one in the actual game but it was the best way to keep the outside looking as much as the in-game house as possible.
  13. Ok awesome. Yeah I was wondering how that would work.
  14. Yeah! That's kind of what I'm wanting to do. Zombies in the mines would make sense, for those who want a fight. I will give it a shot, and see if I can figure out how to share it when I'm done. I know there are other SDV/7D2D fans who would get a kick out of that. I love the juxtaposition of the horrific with the blissful.
