  1. You can relocate workstations with a special tool 'Hand Dolly' (not a wrench).
  2. The ore distribution is vanilla, I had my nitrate in snow biome, coal in plains, oil shale in desert. I look near the bedrock.
  3. I'm sorry to tell you, but to unlock forged iron you need to have Woodworking 75 (in the current version). And usually it comes much later than 10 levels. This mod is very different from vanilla (and from most other mods), so stone axe is not a temporary tool until you find a forge POI, but a large part of the game you run around with it. It is an intended feature, so players 'enjoy' each stage of the game But I agree with you that the game feels very limited until you unlock forged iron. edit: I meant Stoneworking 75, not woodworking.
  4. @naterz98, Can't really help you. I tend not to fight in the beginning. LOL, in A14 I was running for weeks before I even killed my first zed (I had athletics 100 by that time). But I was a noob then. Now I can kill one-two zeds with a wooden club if I have to. But if you can find a follower (they look like a player), run up to him and he will protect you, so you can restore some stamina at least and harvest stones/grass/wood around him. But next version we will not be able to find followers 'everywhere', only in some specific places. So my advice: run, walk (to save stamina), avoid fighting, try to find a some POI to spend the night, use followers while they are available. If fighting, have several wooden clubs (they wear off too fast) and aim for the head.
  5. Aliens abducted him. AGAIN.
  6. Personally I'd like to learn only one block at a time. That would make me go out and explore prefabs. I'd see it a refreshing activity, unlike the usual kill/loot/harvest/build. On the other hand, if we gonna remove magoli prefabs, there isn't much left to explore. And it depends how difficult it is to find an 'examine' tool (its 'one use', right?). But I don't insist, any option suits me fine.
  7. I've discovered there is a distance, where your bow can still hit the dear, but far enough so he doesn't even start running away. Iron arrows make some 2-4 hits, no headshots. Before that I used to chase the animals into water, it slowed them down so I could shoot them. Arrows do better, really hard to kill it with spear for some reason.
  8. I would make reloading speed for the cop and the soldier +100% (half time). Because it is not OP. A professional can do things much faster than an average Joe, so it makes sense. And you are limited with ammo, so you cannot really rely on fast reload. edit: animation may become bad though A professional athlet should have much more stamina than an average person too, but here I agree, anything more than 10-20% is too OP.
  9. This is the first mod where I mostly melee, so I started to ignore bird nests
  10. @the rogue tomato, I think Spider gonna change z-chicken and rabbit's sounds with SDX, but I personally gonna miss them So much adrenaline! @RomRomRya, but only the most dedicated players get into the end game, and we gonna have many more professions now. I personally have never unlocked a second profession. edit: and what good is having triple harvest (if it is even possible) in the end game when you already have everything?
  11. @xyth, double harvest doesn't seem too much if its only for a wrench, so let them electricians and carpenters have it. @spider, so are those numbers adjustable or save breaking?
  12. What is harvest count? So if I chop a tree, do I get the double amount of wood (+100%)? Or wrench a car? Dig earth? This kind of harvest? Or harvest crops? And if we decide to adjust those numbers later, will that break saves? - - - Updated - - - He just told you, the next update (SDX one) no sooner than 2-3-4 weeks.
  13. you can mark the recipes you use as 'favourite' and set the inventory to show you only 'favourite' recipes. No lag this way, but you have to do it each time you log in, and in each crafting station.
  14. Depending on how big those bonuses are, I like the Fitness Instructor. I had my share of running in TS, and stamina is useful throughout the game. Good for a lone survivor, but not much helpful for teammates.
  15. Are those changed stats (Block damage, Run speed, Max health etc) exceed normal throughout the game? Or are those just starting bonuses? I mean, if my profession has this max health bonus, am I able to have more than 250 health with maxed wellnes/perks? Sounds cool. But will we be able to learn other professions eventually?
  16. Ok I trust you know what you doing, you haven't failed my expectations yet
  17. Before I have an opinion about this, I'd like to see the details. All I found was: My concern for this system is I don't see the motivation to specialize, like currently if I want to unlock 'forged iron' I plan to level certain skills and build my gameplay around it. In the new system the goal is just your character level, so you pick the skills that grow fastest and concentrate around those. Ideally I'd love to see a 'tech tree' like in many RPG or stategy games where you would have to specialize. Maybe I am wrong, but does it mean that to level Primitive Crafting and Medicine will require the same amount of time? Because we gonna have many recipes for 'Primitive Crafting' and gonna spend a big chunk of our playtime levelling that, which makes sense. But to spend the same amount of time for the 'Medicine' skill, and to craft the amount of bandages equal to amount of planks for example, is wrong.
  18. Nooo, I want followers with guns too!
  19. Like I said, press F2 for console and type 'debuff overStuffed' if I remember it correctly, with a big S (case sensitive). @EsTygo Eating bananas for science doesn't make sense Our current food system seems good enough. I wish spider had implemented his vitamins/scurvy system, but if it is too complicated, then maybe later.
  20. What's your problem? The buff doesn't expire? Sounds like a bug. I had it once, I had to use console command 'debuff overStuffed' IIRC after each meal
  21. Just climb a roof of a POI and block/destroy the ladders.
  22. @xyth Maybe with the new shapes system we will not have a recipe for each shape, so one recipe for all wood frames, one recipe for all concrete blocks, etc. But I don't know. In our mod we can remove flagstone/brick blocks and make them only 'paintjobs' for cobblestone, as those materials fit into cobblestone role.
  23. @xyth What's gonna change in A16 about this?
  24. If those fruits and veggies are all edible and you gonna make all posible recipe mixes for them, the recipe count will be astronomical. So yes, lets select some. I personally don't feel the need for more edible crops. But for medicine/chemistry/craft we can have the more the better.
  25. What does it mean? Does he have max stamina (250) from the start? What is max speed? Is he running faster than other players? For other professions, are those exclusive recipes or starting ones?
