  1. Well, that's why I'm hoping for this as an official option. Not just because the occasional storm knocks out my internet and then I can't play it with my fiancé despite us both owning the game and sitting 3 feet apart. It provides a needed feature that many people would use, assuming my google searches on the topic are anything to go by. It would also prevent piracy. That's wins all around for everyone. So, dear devs, please add offline LAN support. It would be nothing but an improvement to the game, and it may even increase revenue. 🤑
  2. Then the offline LAN could just compare the license keys to make sure they're different when you connect. Easy fix. It may not be able to validate them, but it will at least ensure there aren't any duplicates from the same steam account. Steam does store the license keys locally. That said, people who want to pirate the game will do so anyway. They have already done so. One of the most common reasons I've seen on other forums for pirating or cracking the game is the lack of offline LAN support. Adding it as an official option would prevent that.
  3. I don't see how it would allow illegal copies. Steam still requires a valid license to install the game to begin with.
  4. Can you please add offline LAN multiplayer? My internet went out last night and I tried to play with my fiancé only to find that the join game button was greyed out. This would also help those who don't have regular internet access, which is actually still a thing in the US.
  5. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I saw a mannequin at a trader once in A18. If I remember right, it was in the secret stash.
  6. Ah, so the thirst thresholds are changing? I get the thirsty debuff much earlier than half in A18, but I didn't see any notes about it. I did see that max stamina will no longer be capped by hunger, so that will be much easier to manage. And it looks like overeating/overdrinking is being removed too, and that's really all I wanted numbers for. Bars will work just fine :3
  7. Sad... I was really hoping to not use mods. Well, Devs, if you see this, I would like some numbers down there. I'm also curious why the bars were removed in the first place. Where can I find that information? I didn't play at all for the past couple years so I missed a lot ^^; I'm happy to say the game has come a long way since then, and I'm really enjoying it now. Another question, will these bars be visible while driving? The toolbelt is hidden while driving right now, so I really hope the bars stay visible. Especially with vehicles actually causing extra food consumption.
  8. Will the hunger and thirst bars have any numerical information on them? I'd like to see my numbers there without having to open the character menu, including any excess above the max. It's good to start trips into zombie-land when you're full instead of right before you need to eat.
