  1. Another great build! I see you are using Adrenalin. How are you getting that app to report correctly? Doesn't work for me
  2. That sounds like quite the system! I have been thinking about removing bloatware, did you use a software tool or manually remove?
  3. Folks have posted their PCs and have shown that if you set your system and game up correctly that you can have totally good playable framerates in 7D2D. So I decided to post my year-old build also. CPU: AMD 7600X, GPU: AMD RX 6700XT, 32 GB DDR 5 Ram clocked at 5600, NVMe M.2 drives on a MSI MOBO running Windows 11 Pro. FPS in 7D2D: open areas 300 +, in larger cities 70-100+. All depends on what POI I am in etc. Game setting, I use, a mix of Ultra, high, and medium. Due to using an older monitor I only run 1080p. Also if you have a full AMD system and haven't tried using the AMD Adrenalin App you may want to give it a try. There are a lot of interesting features that can speed your game FPS up.
  4. Well why not post what your system is! Tell us all what your pc hardware is! (CPU, ram, gpu, your setting). Maybe someone may be able to make some suggestions. I am only running 1080p so I may not be much of a help but this forum is a good community and does give a lot of help to folks.
  5. I got the same results as NekoPawtato! But if you are only using 1 level of blocks, you will only get a water level of a half block. 2 blocks tall will give you 1 and 1/2 blocks of water. It has (I believe) always been this way. BUT water is much easier to work with now!
  6. I would go to Steam and verify your files. Anytime I have had problems this works. Good Luck
  7. Another Question ... Did you replace all the old PSU cables and use the ones that came with the new PSU? That can also make a difference.
  8. SOME VERY GOOD ADVICE HAS BEEN GIVEN! Every time I see a post on bad framerates I think of bottlenecks, too many programs left running in the background, slow ram, wrong CPU, or bad temperatures. Since 7D2D is my main game that I play, when I decided to do my build back in Dec. 2022 I looked very closely at the CPU and ram. I decided to go with the following (after watching/reading a lot of reviews) and have never regretted it. AMD 7600X CPU, MSI Mag MB, 32 GB of DDR 5 5600, 2 MvMe's, and an AMD 6700XT GPU. I run the AMD Adrenalin app. for more adjustment for graphics. I run my game setting about the same as Bob (some higher) with 1920X1080 frame rates that I keep limited to 140 FPS. I am not bragging, I am not an expert. I am an old guy just trying to show that if you do your own builds, or buy a prebuilt PC research, research and research more.
  9. I tried a small mod (modlet?)/Only Crafting challenge put out by a small YT channel (Panhead Gaming) that gave you only the materials to build a forge. You could sell items you looted, but you could not use them yourself. Everything you could craft in the game, if you wanted or needed it you had to craft. That meant everything from food, water, weapons, ammo etc. It was a very interesting experience! I believe the modlet is still available.
  10. I have tried that, either I have missed some files or ????
  11. I have tried everything to get my files moved using the suggestions by SylenThunder, tried a backup method on Steam. I don't want to lose my maps and builds. Any suggestions?
