  1. This may sound strange and annoy the 7DTD community. I would love for TFP to cancel A21 putting all their effort into A22. I love everything I have seen in the A21 Dev Videos. Watching those videos was like rushing home to receive a present. Saying this I think A22 is going to be the game changer. I have been playing this game for ten years non stop and am looking forward to the next evolution to the game. I think A20 is flawless as is and would rather wait A22. This could also give TFP more time to work out bugs. I have a feeling A22 will be the turning point for 7DTD. When A21 does come out I will no doubt be grinding away at it.
  2. Will there be caves again like in past alphas?
  3. I agree, Waste land should be ridiculously hard. Hard during the day extremely hard during the night. Out side of 7 Days to die the only other game that I have loved over the last decade is They Are Billions. That game is hard and I make custom maps that are harder than the base game. I guess I have a hard games fetish. That last line is for additional jokes.
  4. Looking forward to the bandits. I hope they have good A.I and are able to work together. I hope the bandits are Over Powered making you fear coming across them in game. Bandits should always be at a higher level than you. I hope water gets fixed. Maybe add swimming motions, Put a shark and squid in the water to make the water areas dangerous.
  5. I am liking my new under water farm bases which are pretty big. I hope the update is later on in the year. I spent quite a bit of time on this base and sort of don't want to let it go. I hope the update does come around the time my server admin wipes the server.
  6. I think there should be basic zombie walking motions that makes them look more like a uniform crowd when standing or walking a together. I don't know with the limited amount of on screen zombies how this would look. After watching walking shows like the walking dead basic zombies should look more generic as to not stand out. We should see just a bunch of dirty mutant men and women. As zombies walk in a group other zombie animations should influence the zombies around them. Zombies should have a creepy walk. I don't know what that creepy walk would look like other than going by how zoms in the walking dead move. The burned zombie is the best looking for the world and when more of them are on screen looks pretty cool. All the other zombies sort of look out of place. I wouldn't mind having most of the current colorful looking zombies assigned to certain buildings or locations and most of the out door zombies to be more generic looking.
  7. One thing that would be cool if there were dense forest area with many different trees, bushes, plants, vines. You would need to use a tool to cut through this thick forest. Since this game is growing bigger I would like to see other mutant type creatures in the world. I would like a nightmare city where monsters and robotic creatures reside. These nightmare areas would require you to be at a high level to even survive. Why not have spider like creatures that crawl on ceilers that make nest underground that can randomly generate somewhere else when the game reboots. Mutant cave trolls. Weird flying creatures that can suck you up and kill you instantly making you terrified of moving outside. There flying creatures shadows should invoke terror. make is so flying creatures can disappear behind clouds. Have certain bandit groups try to capture you and if they do force you to go on to most deadly missions. I think 7 days to die has potential to be the one game to rule them all.
  8. At this rate they may as well scrap A21 and go right to A22. We have waited this long what is six more months. I am enjoying the game as is. The Pimps seem to be on track with the game development. Without the bandits I don't see my game play style changing up even with all the changes. I primarily build in the water and looking for the big changes to the water.
  9. I now doubt A21 is coming out this year. With them keen on doing the streamer weekend, then release and possibly have to work during Christmas break. At this rate skip A21 and start working toward a release of A22 next year. We went this long waiting a little bit longer is not big a deal. I the game is playable in its current form. I have nothing to complain about. I rather wait for bandits in A22 or A23. We know updates are coming and that is good enough for me.
  10. At my job I am learning how to use Unreal Engine 5. My company is not a game company but is using Unreal Engine across all areas of the company. My mind is blown. I would happily pay 100 dollars for 7 days to die version ported to Unreal Engine 5. From what I have seen internally at work and demos online with the new 5.1 is like visual dopamine for the eyes.
  11. I am a longtime player who even now spends way to much time playing this game. As good as it is now I would like bandits sooner rather than later. I don't care if they are not ready for prime time, buggy, glitchy, OP. Getting bandits that are OP bringing a genuine fear of facing them would be rather nice. In one of the previous alphas on the 3rd party server with many mods the admins add/enabled a crude form of bandits. These bandits were OP, Sniper bandit would kill you with one shot. Auger carrying bandit would chase you under ground as would the other gun carrying bandits. They only roamed the waste land and it was terrifying. When going though the waste land you had to move slowly constantly checking in all directions. Never since before or after this alpha with 3rd party bandit add-ons I had a genuine fear playing this game. I haven't played vanilla 7DTD since 2016. Community mod servers is where this game shines. Other than bandits I would like to see this game get optimized for 100 plus players per server with RWG of up to 30K. There are 3rd party servers that allow more than 50 players which run pretty good IMO. some of the old alphas would allow for up to 30k RWG. I will play this game to my death no matter the devs do. Since I have almost 6000 hours in this game already I am likely a lifer who will be playing this game well after the Fun Pimps are done releasing updates having moved on to other games.
  12. Building a new gaming PC mainly for the best experience of playing 7days to die. I think A20 is almost flawless. Do we have a rough estimate to when A21 will be released. I know the fun pimps motto is it is ready when it is ready which I totally agree with. But would like to know if it is the end of this year or sometime next year. I base all my game purchases around new version releases of 7DTD since this is the game I play 90% of the time. I know I will be grinding hard in Starfield which I hope does not conflict with the release of A21.
  13. Will the bandit's be tougher to fight at night? Maybe give bandits bonuses if it is night time, Thunder storm, 7th day. I want the bandits to be terrifying, chase you out of cities, break your spirits, have you forming game plans on how to approach areas where they roam. I would like to read comments from other players about how the bandits are kicking their ass. I want bandits to work in teams sometimes forcing you to sit and hide for hours(in game) until they leave your area. Taking on more than four or five bandits at a time should amount to death even when your character is at the highest level.
  14. Once again new release and it is mostly flawless. I can't wait to see what they do with water an looking forward to getting taken out by bandits. It would be cool to have areas of the map that become harder. Or one area that is extremely hard all of the time.
  15. I think A20 is damn near flawless. Now give me bandits and I am all set.
  16. I say release it with bugs as long as they don't cause the game to crash. I have been playing this game through every version bugs and all. Would be happy if A20 releases Friday afternoon, this way I can get my in-game all weekend grind going. When there is a new 7DTD release I basically don't do anything for few weeks, all life productivity goes down the drain.
  17. Will A21 be released this time next year? Also after A21 will A22 be the beta version? In a perfect world this game would stay in alpha for the next ten years always updating to give us new experiences. To me 7 days to die is like a Linux distribution. Never complete always upgrading, always changing.
  18. Just like to give a shout out to the Fun Pimps. Love the game, seems like 8 years, way to many hours than I like to admit. I hope the game never leaves Alpha, I usually play all the way up to the next release. The game feels like something new with every update, I have come to expect a new game with every release. I hope the Pimps find a way to monetize some aspects of the game to keep bringing in new dollars for investment back into the game. Bandits are the one feature I want more than anything. I see myself playing this game well into the 2030s. With the level of user customization coming in the future I can see 7DTD becoming like a linux distribution which being forked by different heavily modified user additions. Super Hyped for A20, My Christmas is anytime there is a new update to 7DTD. I am going to be an old man playing this game. I sometimes think what if TFP were to make a sequel to 7DTD in the 2030s running on unreal engine 5, 6 or whatever version is out in the next decade. Long live the Pimps...Rant over and out.
  19. I'm not expecting anything this early on but would like to get any info about bandits. When they make it into the game it will be like Christmas come early. I love the game and this is the thing daydream about most.
  20. I feel like the game is perfect as is and every few updates gives me a whole new experience. If it was up to me they would stay an alpha game for the next ten years. Saying that I am looking forward to 1. Bandits (Future updates): Bandits will take the game to a whole new level. All us long time players will probably have to change up are gameplay. 2. Engine updates: I find myself just staring at the screen sometimes. Since playing from the beginning I absolutely appreciate how beautiful the game looks now. I have mad respect for Unity but I sometimes daydream about what 7 days to die would look like running on Unreal Engine...That is as long as I could dig a deep whole and live in it. I have an affinity for living underground in 7DTD. 3. Random gun fights between NPC factions all the while having to evade and fight zombies. I want the game to stay intense, stressful and scary. I think something like this could raise the blood pressure. 4. Roaming hordes: If the game performance allows it bring back the roaming hordes. I used to have to crouch in a corner waiting for them to leave. I miss the level of in game stress this used to cause. Keep up the good work. I look forward to everything the Fun Pimps release.
  21. Feature List 2125 hrs playing your stellar game. addicted to the game...... well it's either this or quit using a computer, 2125 hrs isn't probably that high for hour count for 7DTD. I know what your thinking "oh no PIMP's here is that guy that only shows up right before a major alpha release to put in his two cents" Run for the hills team. I spent the last two years playing your game you will spend 2 seconds reading this killer list of features. Beware this feature list is so awesome that Nintendo is probably going to read this post and develop an entire game just going off the features listed below. Also they will probably also go out of business. So Drum Roll please Ltbrunt's 2014 no 2015 no 2016 features for 7 days to die............. 1. Hey mad mole any chance of getting the double jump back into the game maybe as a skill. 2. Also would love to have the ability to duck under one block again. 3. Being able to crawl would be a killer feature. - Make it so that if you do crawl damage from zombies would be ten times higher. Since your body would be completely undefended. 4. The ability to build on trees would be nice. 5. Mad Scientist skill tree, - At the higher Mad Scientist skill tree you could craft a vaccine that would turn you into a half zombie allowing you to tame/control a couple other zombies. You would have to keep crafting and taking the vaccine. If the vaccine wears off your zombie pets will tear you a new one. - Mad scientist would have unique weapons for the Mad Scientist craft tree. - Mad scientist would not be bothered by the zombies but would be constantly attacked by the roaming bandit hordes. 6. Give me bandits like the - Gatling gun totting bandit name Tom Wilson slow but deadly. - Sniper bandit who runs from close combat, named Thadeous Dean, beware he runs to get a good sniping advantage on your location. - Shotgun Eddie, ex cop wears a sweet suits and likes kicking doors in. Usually the first guy in your face usually the first guy that dies. - Retired cop turned bandit Johnson Smitty, Just wants to live the quiet life but on the day he retired the world ended. Terrible shot with a hand gun but moves very fast. - Wet Water Willy the Water bandit, likes to hide in water for a nice afternoon ambush with a Bowie Knife Mate. - and last but not least Shelly Slash you up. She wields not only a Katana for close combat but pulls a Uzi to light you up from a distance. She is the boss. - And if you kill the bandits without getting head shots then they will turn into regular zombies that are stronger since they are new zombies. -
