  1. Would someone make a mod that changes zombie noises from being high-pitched and screechy to low and lazy groans?
  2. Is there a way I can add the "zombies don't feel pain" feature to any game, not just this modpack? Like is it a part of the Difficulty modlet, is it an expansion of NoZombieRage? I assume it's a .dll file and I'm really bad with that stuff; xpath is the limit of my abilities haha. My b, I think it's a custom alteration of "PainResistPerHit" in xpath.
  3. There's a big difference between a chill community and a "Kumbaya Narnia." Yeah, you're going to have a bit of crappiness online no matter what, but the thing is that the crappiness is not a broad trend in a chill community.
  4. In my experience, this isn't true for every community. There are cool, chill places to hang out online -- even places with thousands of active users. They aren't common, but they certainly exist. The emoji itself is neutral. The use of it, when you went back to every post I made and reacted to each one at once, was petty. I got notifs for each one due to default forum settings. You also did not respond to my argument. Like I said, you might not call it toxic, that's fine. But the way that you, now, are acting is needlessly antagonistic.
  5. So, a rose is a rose by any other name. Even if it isn't what you would specifically call "toxic" -- that's probably a difference between our idiolects, and there's no issue with that -- there's still something misguided and antagonistic behind it. You can call it whatever you like, but my point is that I've noticed it's common in this community. And you reacting with a poop emoji to all of my posts isn't really helping your case, lol.
  6. 1. Excellent gatekeeping. I'm not making you do anything. Even if I were to set a "better example," it's clear I'm an outsider either way. 2. The "cool people (like myself)" bit was a joke. You are only proving my point when it comes to the toxicity angle.
  7. "Setting a better example" isn't the only thing that can or should better affect a community. Even if there are 100 cool people, you have to deal with the 1000 uncool people. And uncool people drive cool people (like myself) away, leading to a greater disproportion of uncool people. You have to either get rid of the uncool people, or get the uncool people to act cool, making them into cool people. Moderators aren't the only people with this ability to shape communities. They're not mutually exclusive. That "A19 before A20" comment in particular was both toxic (as in needlessly antagonistic) and silly (as in unreasonable).
  8. Do you think that I don't want you to have an opinion? All I'm advocating for is people in this community -- specifically, this forum -- to take a less combative approach to discussion.
  9. Shown: someone not acting toxic at all. There's a clear line between reasonable and unreasonable criticism, and comments like "you need to optimize A19 before A20" are just silly. There's a general thread of antagonism throughout this whole community and it is lame and alienating.
  10. From this thread, wow this community is acting toxic. I think the game is great and I'm excited for A20 and all future Alphas. Especially for bandits.

    Hey Xyth. I'm having trouble compiling this mod in DMT. Specifically it's with the Humans Creature Pack. Here's the log. I'm using the newest versions of all of the mods.
