  1. The emptiness of the world bugs me.  I'd like to see the traders be more like settlements with a population that have different people to get missions from.  More mission variety would be cool.. I'm repeating myself here,,,but taking elements of how Fallout 4 did settlements would add a lot.

i tend to stick to 60 min days as the last time i did 2 hour days i damn near had a concrete horde base by day 7 and had a steel horde base by day 14

Same here. I was using 120 minutes. Too much damn loot management.

Down to 60 minutes which is the right balance for me right now. I'm on default difficulty, but I'm also using the DF mod. Day/Jog. Night/Run. horde night/sprint.  I think I'm on 8 for horde size.

I could afford more difficulty, but I like to screw off and take risks too much.

  3. I think there is potential for having a City rebuilding element to the game. Meaning that once a clear a certain region, civilians start moving in and you have to protect to them. Maybe you can 'train' some of those civilians to help you fight zombies. Basicaly a version of what Fallout 4 did with the settlements.

Hi , I started to play this mod few days ago and i have been playing with no problem , currently on day 7 in survivalist difficulty and 90 min day cycle (Dont know if those settings are fine for this mod) , the only issue i find is takes some time to load the game , i have 16gb RAM and playing on darknessMedium1 map i think is 10k size  , should i start over on small size map , or i'll be fine? i am asking because I don't want to have Ram issues later . Thanks for the Mod

What do you mean by "Time"? 3 minutes or 30 minutes?

I'm also on a DF 10K map. I have not timed it, but I'd guess my load time is 3 or so minutes.

I always thought it was hilarious that the whole structural integrity of the roof relied on a cardboard box on a shelf.

Here's something funnier...Had a bad run in with some POI zombies that got me down to single digit health. I survived though due to my quick thinking and skillz.  I then went over to a shower curtain to obtain some cloth and died instantly after striking the lower half of the shower curtain first.

Is there a definitively "best" melee weapon?

Recently, I've been partial to the spear. You can follow a heavy attack with a very quick light attack before they hit the ground (If you even need it). I have not tested, but my feeling is that the spear has the best DPS.

The difficulty level one is at may factor into what is "best' however.

Next farming outcome: Appletrees on dirt grow MUCH MUCH MUCH faster than on snow or sand. I harvested my dirt-appletree 3 times until that ones on snow or dirt grew only once. And now the dirt-appletree is grown again.

I guess that's a vanilla issue, as there several trees on snow or sand also don't grow to their full stage. However appletrees do grow, it just takes ~3 times the time.

And as i experienced (and read) from vanilla, it's not the biome they are in, it's just the block they are planted on.

I guess that applies to all form of fruit trees.

Wait. I'm on DF Mod. My Apple trees don't come back.  Planted in a farm plot. Harvested once. Next think I know it's gone.

Both the Mountain lion and Direwolf have been made too OP. Between pain resistance, skipping attack animations, increased health, and whatever else TFP have done to buff them, there are pretty much unbeatable at early game stages with common weapons. I pelted a mountain lion with 6 arrows, and then power bashed it a couple of times with a club and it still killed me. And just shot a direwolf in the face with a blunderbuss at point blank range, and it killed me in 3 bites.. WTF!!! Nerf please.

Early game I just run and avoid them. I don't even try to fight them. It's only the first few levels though.  They are pretty much fodder once you level up your projectile weapons.
