  1. I can't wait for the new console version...TAKE MY MONEY!! πŸ«΄πŸ’΅
  2. I believe the online servers for the old console version were closed back on September 30, 2022. You may still be able to play with friends through game invites, but I can't say for sure since I've never tried to myself. Also, I don't think you can just join random people's game/world anymore either because, when I tried to join a random person's game online about a month ago, and I was unable to connect to the servers and was brought back to the main menu shortly after. With that being said, I can't say for certain though so take this with a grain of salt, but it could possibly be due to TFP getting prepared for the new console ports of the game that are currently in development for the PS5 and Series X|S consoles.
  3. I believe Traders restock and rotate items daily. You just have to keep checking back in with them until you find what you're looking for. Also, it's best to know where most of the Traders are located on the map, so that way you can stop by multiple Trader shops each day which gives you a greater chance at finding what you need. Hope this helps.
  4. I believe the online services for the console version closed back on September 30, 2022. I can't say for sure because, I haven't played the Xbox version in a few months and I mainly play solo when I do. Also, if the online services did indeed close then it's probably in preparation for the new console version for whenever it releases. With that being said, maybe you can still play online co-op with friends through invites, but joining random people's game may not be possible anymore, then again I'm not entirely sure?
  5. I can't wait to play the new version once it releases again on console. Keep up the great work TFP! 😎
  6. A new version for console has been in development a little less than a year now, so it's still going to take some time before it's released into the wild. Porting a game like 7 Days To Die from PC to Console is no small task, and even though these new current-gen consoles are much more powerful than the last-gen machines, they still have more limitations than a high-end PC does. Plus the team working on the new port have to be mindful of that because as I was saying, they still have their limitations on how much they can do. With that in mind, things that work extremely well on PC without any hiccups may need lots of optimizations and careful tweaking in order for it to run properly on Console. I'm a Console player myself and I'm more than satisfied just knowing that there's a new version in the works. Also trust me when I say this, I want to play the new Console version of 7 Days To Die just as much as everyone else does, but I understand that a game big and resource heavy like 7 Days To Die takes time and a lot of man hours for it all to work and run properly. Also, I'd much rather have them take their time and do it right to ensure that the new version releases with the least amount of problems and bugs as possible.
  7. I've always kinda felt the same way to be fair. I don't mind cross-play between PlayStation and Xbox but, when it comes to cross-play between Console and PC, I've never been that much of a fan, personally. If they at least give the option to turn cross-play off with PC then, I won't mind if they add it long as there's an option to disable it for those who wish to only cross-play with other console players.
  8. I think TFP are doing the actual development work on the PC side and then, Titanium Games is most likely taking what TFP give them so they can port it and get it working properly on console. Joel aka "Madmole" made a video on his YouTube channel a long time ago about, how the development process on console works back when they were in partnership with Telltale Games and Iron Galaxy. With that being said, I'm assuming it's still the same kind of process, only thing different is, they have an entirely new studio who's working on porting it to the PS5 and Series X|S consoles. 7 Days To Die console development process:
  9. You may want to post in the PC section of the forums, this is the "General Discussion" section for the PlayStation and Xbox version(s) of the game.
  10. Oh, nice, that's pretty cool. I can't speak too much on PlayStation since I'm not really familar with the programs they offer on their platform. The only one's on console I can speak on are Xbox's programs, they have an early access program called "Game Preview" and a program for independent developers called ID@Xbox.
  11. Xbox actually has an early access program, it just mainly depends on if the devs really want to bring their game to its early access program on console which then has to be accepted and approved by Microsoft. Most devs don't though because, it's more of a hassle for smaller devs to develop the same game on multiple platforms. The devs that do usually has a console team that handles the Xbox port of the game. Xbox's early access program is called "Game Preview" where you can play the game during its development, report bugs, leave feedback, etc up until its official 1.0 release. With that being said, I'm not 100% sure about PlayStation since they didn't get PUBG until its official 1.0 release a year after Xbox once it left early access on PC and Xbox. I've recently been playing Valheim through early access on Xbox the last few days as well, it's actually a pretty cool viking survival game but, nothing can top 7 Days To Die though.
  12. TFP definitely haven't forgotten about console players trust me, in fact, they have been completely honest and transparent with us for a few years now. With that being said, I'm a console player myself and I couldn't be any more excited knowing there's a new console port of 7 Days To Die on the horizon. I'm not sure if you ever heard of the YouTuber named Guns, Nerds, and Steel but, he did an interview with TFP a few months ago and they discussed a lot about what's going on with console and where they're currently at. Also, keep in mind that the interview was done like 4-5 months ago so, they've probably made a lot more progress now then where they were at during the time of the recording. When you have some spare time, I highly recommend checking out the video I posted below, I even added timestamps for you and anyone else who's interested. From 6:43 to 9:46 in the video you can learn what's going on about the new console version from TFP themselves.
  13. Good stuff, I subscribed to your YouTube channel. πŸ˜‰
  14. You could even have it so hunting becomes more challenging due to animals being able to pick up your sent more. I forgot what game I played a long time ago where, not cleaning and washing yourself over time can have an affect on your characters skills, morale, and hunting. With that being said, the one you mentioned about the Traders would be pretty cool as well.
  15. That would actually be a cool mechanic in the game ngl, where you would have to wash and clean yourself over time. Not doing so for many days on end, maybe it can affect some skills/stats and attract certain zombies to your location.
  16. Tell me about it, lol! I'm a console player myself but, I think it's fair to say that I'm one of the chill ones on here. I never complain about updates, I've never blamed TFP, and I always try my best to do some research before assuming things. Also, everytime someone comes on here and complains about the console version before looking into its past/current situation, it makes some of the console players (like myself) who are being chill and patiently waiting look bad.
  17. I hope it does, it would be nice to still be able to play split screen co-op with my buddy, whenever he comes over to hangout on the weekends. If not, then I'm definitely going to miss cracking a few cold ones back, while just having fun getting ready for horde night lol!
  18. As a gamer who's played on both console and PC in the past, Aim-Assist is very helpful for some console players who mainly play with controllers. I think it would be a great idea to have some kind of an option, to enable/disable Aim-Assist in the new version since aiming with a mouse, is so much more accurate than aiming with your thumbs on a controller. Hopefully this is recognized by the developers and whoever TFP new console porting partners are.
  19. Here's my two cents. I really hope TFP forget about back porting to the older consoles (PS4/XB1), especially if they want to have cross-play between console and PC in order to have both platforms be somewhat on par with one another close as possible. I feel that the last gen consoles will hold back the new consoles due to hardware limitations (CPU/RAM) since they will need to keep the lowest denominator in mind unless the older consoles will be its own separate port without cross-play functionality then...Idk? With that being said, I'm no software engineer or game developer, but I feel that those older consoles will hold back the new consoles if they decided to go down that route because those weak AMD Jaguar CPUs in the PS4/XB1 are pretty bad by today's standards and were already outdated tech when those consoles launched back in 2013. I also understand that PC is and always will be more powerful than these new consoles depending on the build you have, but if TFP really want to reach their goal of having cross-play between console and PC without as much hardware limitations, then I say for them to solely focus on the PS5/XBS ports since those machines have much more capable Ryzen Zen 2 CPUs and RAM in them.
  20. Yes, GreatWhiteNorth is the name of the seed I play on.
  21. My personal favorite seed to play on is GreatWhiteNorth. It has lots of Traders, and there's a section on the map where there's like 3 or 4 Traders not far from one another. It has 3 Hub Cities, 1 Large, 2 small and about 10 Towns as well. It has a few Missle Silos, Military Camps, and a bunch of Underground Bunkers too.
