  1. With the focus on making the next console version cross-platform play compatible, I get the feeling that this won't happen. It will basically need to match the PC versions 1:1. I do hope that it does happen though, as this was basically the only way I played on my PS4.
  2. It seems like they have this issue about every other generation. 5000-series GPU, major issues at launch with game compatibility and driver. 6000-series, no problems. now 7800XT and 7900XT's are almost unplayable on a large number of games.
  3. That isn't an error. Just a warning that can be ignored. It would not cause a crash. I suspect that the data in your base chunk is corrupted, which would cause the crash. Could be due to a number of things like missing block data due to mods not loading properly, or even as simple as having put down too many frame shapes. The fix would be to reset the affected area so you can enter it again.
  4. The dev's Twitter/X page, or the announcements section here. That is where you will see it posted first.
  5. Ok, I know there have been some issues with textures, shadows, and other similar things on those 7800/7900's, but you shoudn't be having that kind of an issue. Step 1 : Exclude your game client and save folder from security software. If you say "I don't have any", you have Defender and it must be excluded. I cover this in detail in the Support FAQ thread that is Pinned. Step 2 : After you have fully excluded the client, now validate the files three times. Once almost never finds everything, and twice isn't much better. Step 3 : Reboot your computer. I would recommend doing a full hard shutdown and power drain if you haven't in a while. Step 4 : Back up your save files to another location. (File locations are in the Pinned FAQ thread.) Step 5 : Nuke everything. The Blue banner at the top of this page has instructions. Want to be certain that everything is fully reset. Step 6 : Try these video settings. I'm on an R9 3900X with 32GB RAM and a 6800XT. I average well over 100FPS at 1440p all the time. Step 7 : Try again on a fully fresh map/save. This will rule out any data corruption from previous worlds. If that works, then you can try restoring previous save data and see how it runs.
  6. IIRC there are three POI's with a broken dew collector. Looting that has something like a 5% chance to have a filter in it when you loot it. Destroying it doesn't do you any good.
  7. It is apparent that you don't pay any attention to active threads in this forum, or the main dev Twitter account.
  8. TFP has no control over the current version in the store. They did not publish it, TellTale did. Only Sony and MS control it currently and will not allow TFP control under their rules. If you cared to do a bit of research in this topic you obviously care so much about, you might have discovered that.
  9. "This year" is about the best I can do. You aren't likely to find anything better until Alpha 22 goes stable on PC.

  11. Note that the desired log would be from the playthrough where this occurred. And please, read the instructions on how to post the log.
  12. Forgot to add this when I moved the thread to support.
  13. I'm pretty sure I know exactly who it was, and where the attacks are coming from. TFP very likely does as well. This is pretty typical behavior from this group, and I would not be surprised if legal actions were taken again.
  14. Well, a couple of things. 1. 101 mods is probably too many. You will typically start to see issues when you exceed about 50. Combine where you can, and that will help server performance. 2. The issue you have, is not an issue with the game client or server. It is with a 3rd-party tool. You need to seek help with the tool support forum thread or discord.
  15. At a glance, it looks like you are running the server as root, and not as the user like you are supposed to. More details about how you configured this server would be useful.
  16. I tagged a Pimp regarding the issue. Hopefully the ensuing floggings will speed things up.
  17. Oculus Support was listed in the Kickstarter, and is planned post-launch.
  18. There is a red banner at the top of the forum for reporting bugs. Be sure to follow the instructions.
  19. All known news is announced in the Console section of the forum. Originally they were not going to release the new console version until after the PC game was completed and released. Instead they found a developer to work on it, and started early. They plan to have a version (not final) available shortly after the release of Alpha 22. You would know all of this if you read the correct section of the forum for the information. The most recent news is from September of last year, and is posted online right here in the correct section of the forum. That is the news available. If you choose not to believe it, that is on you. If you choose to ignore it, that is on you.
  20. Client isn't even starting up. First clear out all game data. Then exclude your client and save folders from security software. Then validate the files at least twice in Steam and reboot your computer. Disabling your antivirus usually doesn't fix much. Especially if it is Windows Defender/Security Essentials.
