  1. Working on doing a Walking Dead style world and was wondering since I am eliminating the blood moon is there a way to create larger wandering hordes or will that bog down the CPU?
  2. I started doing that initially. I went into the prefablist folder renamed the gas stations by assigning an additional letter to the front of the name. Fixed it in the prefablist as well and that seemed to help somewhat. Of course being a masochist I decided my first wasteland only would be a 16k map. Thanks for the help.
  3. Where are these tags located? Been going over the individual POI XML files and I am missing it. Sadly google has not helped much.
  4. I just started playing with Nitrogen so I am a late comer to this. It seems that Pass N Gas owns half the towns on the map. Is there a way to limit the frequency of a POI?
  5. So I got a bit miffed a while back with the pipe bomb bug killing me so I decided to do some redecorating of the Red Mesa base. I just need to change the sign out front to make Cornholio proud. I apologize for the crappy video quality still getting the hang of recording them.

  7. Been playing on a few random gens and Navezgane and been noticing a different experience between what happens at my home base vs what happens at people's like Glock9, Skippy and Capp00. On the Randoms I usually set up next to the 1st trader you find during the intro quests. A lot of times I setup literally across the street. Usually at least 3 times in a 7 day cycle I get a horde banging on my doors. On Navezgane I setup down the road from Carl's Corn since it was close to trader Jen. I seem to still get the constant spawn even in the early game despite at the most having a single torch going
  8. I haven't seen this in the sense of zombies respawning and I am running max out zombies. At the most I usually will get them when I start going loud with a shotgun or pistol. Other than that I might get the odd one or two that show up.
  9. Yeah once the client restarts the issue clears up. I went to get my screenshot and it was gone.
  10. I general use stealth as a play style but the dungeon style POIs don't really lend well to it. I rarely if ever enter the path I am supposed to go in but instead choose to ingress from other locations. This does cause zeds to spawn sometimes on top of me. However I find I rarely have to go loud in the early stages of the game. Usually I use a bow for the bonus damage against a sleeper, then toss a spear, and finish off with a sledge on most zombies.   11. The compound bow aims fairly easily and there is a bow sight schematic I noticed when I typed bow into the crafting menu.
  12. I saw this during the A19 experimental but did not get a screen shot. I had a recent quest at the Working Stiff store and when I went to go in through the garden section there was a weird marbling effect around the walls and overtop the shelves. I also saw something similar during the experimental but with the Dumping Coal location. There it was the shed that takes you to the main loot was completely enclosed in this weird marbling that kind of looked like when wood items collaspe but rather than triangular they were squared off.   14. I was staying in a nice POI across from the trader. Around night 4 I hear some zombies outside and did not think much of it until I went out to deal with them. The nurse spawned on the outside of yard which was nothing unexpected however I had another that had spawned in the yard beating on my back wall. After dealing with them I figured out that maybe I need to move my sleeping bag(I had it by the front door previously. ).   15. After turning one into a pin cushion with stone arrows I went to process the bear and each bone knife thrust it jiggled like it was made of jello and was bouncing all over.
  16. I was thinking disarm so they could be moved to another location but that does work well also since the dog kennel had a ton around them.
  17. Not sure if it has been mentioned but a perk that lets you disarm landmines would be nice as well.

  19. I would still probably buy another console game from TFP but I'd do some research first. While I do enjoy the console version when playing with my son and brother it does feel very empty compared to the current PC version. That is no fault on TFP but on Tell Tale who for some odd reason felt a console version of the choose your own adventure books was a viable thing to sell. *Edit* When I say choose your own adventure I am talking about their primary games they sell not 7D2D.
  20. I think the critical hit system needs a slight tweak. It is a great idea but does need to not happen every time you get hit even when grazed.
  21. I have it happening with the primitive bow also. I love the dancing arrow visual though when they stay where the Zed was hit.
  22. That is a lesson learned for me as well. I usually power attack with the stone sledge(Timing it for the zombie to walk into the blow) and move back before doing it again. The new crit system is a PITA but enjoyable in the realism sense.
  23. I'll make a note next time it happens. Right now I just moved to the A19 test which on one hand love the new graphics but some of the more annoying issues is primitive bow not showing arrows notched or my arrows that are on a zombie dancing in the original impact zone away from said zombie.
