  1. I would love to strip health increase from food and make it level dependent - not sure that is possible.
  2. @KhaineGB "All zombies updated from Legacy animation to Mecanim." What does this mean/do?
  3. Are you planning to do an A17e version of DF or are you going to wait till it goes to A17 (after getting serious game time in of course)?
  4. Um, I'm the hunter class and I make it as soon as I have the mortar and pestle. Corn grain and water on the campfire right? If it is only 0 or 100, have you tried with 0?
  5. Grain alcohol is very easy to make and it's easy to get corn so I'd not make it not 100% resist for both. Seriously I have grain alcohol from day 1 on (use it to help with mining).
  6. Just throwing out ideas. It pisses me off watching lets plays and they are running around mining and looting at night like it was an easter egg hunt.
  7. While I'm at it would it be possible to make the zeds run faster than the player at night, that combined with only 30% stun resist chance should make night activities terrifying (as they should be).
  8. Hopefully it'll be possible in A17, right now it is an exploit.
  9. When you switch the mod over to 17 can you reduce the stun resistance from 100% to like 30% for alcohol?
  10. Gah, looks like A17e might be a Sept. release. Gonna start a new 1.8.2. game tonight to stop me from going insane.

  12. I think it will be good to see you only start off doing a little damage then watching the damage you do increase as you go down the skill line. Better than reading "you do 3% more damage".
  13. Hey KhaineGB, When 17 drops can you add the zombie health bar back in? It was mentioned that it was removed but hinted that it could be modded back in.
  14. How about making them move faster, not run mind you but a fast walk. The idea is that you can get overwhelmed, you have the numbers so maybe just need a little speed so they converge faster.
  15. With KhaineGB unable to access this site it is naturally a great time to make a suggestion. So the main tediousness of the game is the low-level zeds that wander everywhere, they are no threat (even at level 1) and there is a ton of them. Is there some way to make them more of challenge? Maybe every week or few days there are less of them but they are more dangerous?
  16. No worries, it's a trivial thing.
  17. Few things: 1) Snakes do no count toward kills 5 animals with the hunting rifle. 2) Found a book called "Tool Crafting Notes", how do I use it? 3) Is there a way to harvest plants without needing to replant them?
  18. Rumor has it that Khaine actually did the voice over of the female bandits. J/K - Mod is amazing of course but it was getting a little too warm and fuzzy in here so I had to bring in a little shade. =)

  21. It's alright- I was just bitching. 1.8 is the best (hardest) yet, every day so far I'm having a number of "Oh ♥♥♥♥!" moments. Running at 25% loot also makes base building slow and horde nights defense was almost non-existent except for by bow and hunting rifle.
  22. The 8-foot zombie chick that one hit kills me shows up, seriously what is the purpose of her appearing early on when the player as not even a small chance of surviving?
  23. That might of been it - any way to make the quest incompletable if there is no inventory space for received items? Maybe make it a step to complete for the quest?
