  1. Including the ability to turn off all traders and adjust starting quests to not say "missing trader" - I am loving the no-trader style of gameplay.
  2. Who really plays this game, has a blast doing it, but then says "this sucks, my chest armor clipped over my coat!"? Not me! Who gives a crap about clipping? I'd much rather have gameplay improvements than "fixing" something that I personally don't think needs to be fixed. I like the variety the current armor slots provide. Regardless of any bonuses that the new "sets" may give, I just don't want to go from 10 slots to 5 slots.
  3. Nope, it doesn't break the game. If some idiot wants to constantly swap glasses on and off for a chance at more loot, let him! I never waste time doing this and I sure don't waste time with the stupid loot goggle switching CONSTANTLY! How stupidly unfun is that!
  4. I think it might have been better received if you had credited JaWoodle at the beginning and linked his video.
  5. Genosis posted a good video on this just this weekend. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVuNGAcfNgU
  6. Yeah, my son and I had a nightmare time in there trying to find one final z, even with it showing as yellow on the hud. Also, way too much parkour in that one for a game that doesn't implement it really well. Broken legs for both of us.
  7. Wow, that was disappointing! Totally unable to see, even with NVGs once I got to the wasteland. This really needs to be addressed.
  8. This is the same thing happening to me. I think I'm going to go in today and mod out the fog, if I can figure it out or someone already has a mod. While "realistic", it is absolutely unfun having VFR instrumentation and IFR flying conditions. One thing I haven't tried is the NVGs, while flying. Does this make it where you can see? Will try today as every time I get to the choppa, it clouds over.
  9. Grampa Rick's Stinky Sauce! Slather it on and, as long as you are walking and not sprinting, Z's will ignore you! It would have to be very expensive and it would probably be a nightmare to code, but who else wants to slather on zombie guts and then walk through a wandering screamer horde!? I do! Ingredients: Rotten flesh Acid (to gate it) ? Maybe make the ghillie suit into a zombie flesh suit? Ghillie suit seems worthless, or at least it did the last time I tried it out. Or have it as a mod for the ghillie suit only? Just having fun on a Saturday am and thinking of things that might be fun.

    Sand

IKR! Was a little worried when I posted it that TFP would see it and go "wait, what!? Mixers are fast at sand processing!?"
  11. I like this new feature and hate it at the same time!

    Sand

I know this has been around since at least A19, but why was sand harvesting nerfed so much? Its annoying that it is easier to get stone from mining, and pound it into sand than to just go gather mother nature's millions of years of hard work. With the increase in time it takes for concrete to be crafted, does decreasing sand collection really do anything other than annoy? At a minimum, it shouldn't be any faster to mine rock and crush it than it is to just scoop it up out of the dessert.
  13. Hate that cop! Last time in the police station POI, I went into the office next to him, knocked a hole in the wall, and shot him in the head with hidden damage modifier!
  14. I'm going to clarify my OP a little. I was disappointed in the loot - the POI was scary and had me cowering in fear (and fun) several times through the two-day run! I play dead-is-dead so this POI was very difficult, and subsequently, very fun! I just completed a level 2 house (something 4 as I recall) on a new run-through that had more book shelves in the house then this book store HQ. If you don't want to have a ton of books in it anymore, please turn it into a department store HQ, instead of a bookstore HQ. Then the quest rewards for this level 5 were way worse, as I mentioned, than level 3s and 4s that I'd been getting. I wish I had written down the 4 items I had to choose from but I didn't. They weren't "oh, that's good but I already have it" - they were "Wow, that's crap!" TL;DR; I loved the quest itself and the tier 5s in Wastelands are no joke. If you want to have the most fun in this game, switch to dead-is-dead and go tackle a tier 5 POI! It adds a whole new dimension!
  15. No - 6 x 13 - one pole on each corner, one each in the middle. . . . . . . None of the poles fell and only one side collapsed.
  16. I had two selections into Daring Adventurer. However, the big takeaway for me was the lack of a "book shelf" floor, like in the previous incarnation of this POI. The only significant place I could have even seen them was on the ground floor where I think there were three "shelves" but each only had one filled "book case".
  17. I'll not make this mistake in my next playthrough Solid cube base for me
  18. In Pregen6k, the only tier-5 locations are in the snow and wastelands. As such, I picked wasteland since my temp resistance isn't up-to-par yet. It was a Crack-a-Book HQ. It took me two in-game days, was filled with insta-spawn horde triggers, constantly had outside mobs attacking, and ended up having only about 10 bookshelves in the whole POI, from which I got three books/schematics, 1 of which I hadn't read. When I went to turn in the quest, I was offered crap rewards, worse than I'd been getting on the level 4 POIs. All-in-all, a complete waste of time! Did I just miss something in the POI (I cleared it and finished the quest) where there are more bookshelves? Shouldn't tier 5 rewards, done in the Wasteland, offer top-notch rewards? Was I just an RNG victim?
  19. I'd be curious to know what it was, then. It was at least 7 in-game days old, none of the poles collapsed, and It was solid concrete poles and cobblestone blocks for floors and walls. And, it was 6 poles, 3 x 2, with 2 equal areas on each side and the same amount of stuff on each side, within reason. Only one side collapsed, and, as I recall, I did do some lifting and replacing of blocks on the side that collapsed but not on the other side.
  20. Any guess as to when this will be fixed? Just lost my whole crafting base on day 28. Had been in it for 7 ingame days and was off getting sand before the horde - as I'm driving back in the fog, I see burning stuff ahead and as I pull up, my base is collapsing Frustrating as I dont' want to go in DM mode and "repair" it - this is the worst bug I've experienced since the minibikes used to cause me to fall through the world.
  21. All my level 5 POIs are in the snow or wasteland biomes. As such, to continue progressing I need to go to the snow biome to run them. However, I get the red snowflake within 10 minutes or so of entering the snow biome. I have every piece of warm gear and one mod on me and yet am still freezing. What I'd like to be able to see is how much more do I need before I won't freeze? I have a coat on with 15.3 cold resist, BDUs with 9.1 and 8.9 cold resist. So what exactly do I need to stay warm? Currently, the only way I can do it is to head to the biome and freeze to "check" if I have enough. I only have the one insulated liner mod and have also noticed, at least in my playthrough, a lack of armor and clothing mods dropping. Usually by day 25 previously, I'd have a complete set of gear that would keep me warm, but not this playthrough.
  22. I have 3 quests for skyscraper 01, 02, and 03. Does anyone know what they really are? I'd like to do crackabook if I could. Does anyone know if/when TFP will modify these names so they aren't so lame?
  23. This would have been so much better and funnier of a bug if, instead of not climbing the ladder, the zombies instead shot off into space when reaching the top as long as there wasn't a roof over the ladder, and subsequently died from fall damage! 🤣🤣
