  1. Hey Claymore, thank you so much for keeping this great mod alive, since Fastburst pretty much abandoned it. I have a few questions though, maybe you could answer them. So my girlfriend is hosting 2-player-games for us, but only I installed the .dll since our last attempt with OT's version caused errors in her world files. Now I can turn all kinds of lights on and off and adjust flickering, distance, intensity etc., but she only ever sees the lights being turned on with standard settings - she can't see any added effects or adjustments. Also, when I leave the general area and go scavenging (or after restarting the game), all lights are returned to standard settings for me as well. So is there any way to actually save the settings? And would she need to use your .dll as host as well in order to see my lighting setup? Fastburst offered a version for dedicated servers in his initial post, but we're not sure if her hosting a game counts as "dedicated server", or if that term is only used for actual servers. Cheers mate
  2. FastBurst, I've now returned to the live build (B240), started a SP game, and your mod simply doesn't seem to be compatible. B240 savegames show a version mismatch in the menu (map version is shown in yellow), the food/water system isn't updated to the new 150 max, character stats are completely reset. What's the issue here?
  3. Hey, my girlfriend and I tested this mod, but we ran into some serious trouble and basically lost our savegame, and as far as I can see, there's no warning about such a risk in your post. We'd love to use the mod, so maybe you could give us some advice on what went wrong and how to prevent that from happening? She always creates a game for 2 players; so we're not playing on any server, but she's hosting me locally. We're currently running 'latest experimental', which was b9 when we tried the mod. We both downloaded the file 'updated for b240' since that seemed to be the appropriate file (in my opinion, your initial post doesn't make very clear which file to use, or what the SDX version means or does, so we downloaded what seemed to be the latest 'standard' file). We made a backup of the dll, put your file in the data folder, started the launcher and turned EAC off. The savegame was shown in yellow, indicating a version mismatch - however, we downloaded your files on the same day you responded to someone in this thread that the mod should work for 'latest experimental', so we assumed that's okay. We loaded the savegame - and our home base was basically reset to the way it was when we first entered it. Zombies inside, previously removed walls reappeared, furniture etc. gone. Her level was also reset from about 70 back to 1, even though her inventory remained untouched. Things like wall paint also remained untouched on blocks that already existed in the standard house, so it seems it simply reset all blocks we had created, but not those we only altered/repaired/painted. Putting the backup dll back in place didn't fix it, of cource, since we didn't realize that our actual savegame and world files may be affected by this and would need backups as well. So, do you know what went wrong? Would she need a different file since she's actually hosting the game? Would she need to use the version 'for dedicated servers' (which honestly sounds wrong, since we're not playing on or hosting a server when playing local coop only). Or is this not supposed to work for hosts at all, meaning that only I could run your dll to turn on all our lights? We have since started a new game, but with the standard dll in place, so we wouldn't risk losing everything on the next minor game update. We'd appreciate your advice.
