  1. Don't worry, a 2060 6gb is more than enough for 1080p, with the right settings you should get relatively stable 60fps with full textures. I also own one.

     

    First of all, reduce the shadow distance to medium. Far may not be a problem on daylight - but will tank your fps on sunset and/or sunrise.

    Make sure, dynamic resolution is off.

     

    Some people suffer from a bug in A18/19.1 where they have to reapply either texture filter or terrain quality on every start of the game (including me). This is what I had to do once every gaming session:

    -          Change texture filter to any other setting (for example from High to Low)

    -          Change texture filter back to your original setting (High)

    -          Press Apply.

    This bug seams to be fixed in 19.2 for me.

  3.  I just want to say thanks to @faatal for the terrain shader improvements in 19.2 (and all the other optimizations) 🍺

     

    Did a quick test only - but looks like I'm now able to play with Texture Filter on Ultra+ @60fps in Snow biome - wow, thanks 😃

    Deleting your mods is just not enough. At a minimum you have to create a new savegame to get rid of these left over modded zombies.

  6. I'm only playing single player, so I'm not using EasyAntiCheat (always off in launcher) - but I checked mine right now just for the interest...

     

    My EasyAntiCheat is looking exactly as csense one, there is only "Game 17" available in the dropdown and also no FAQ link.

    Version 4.0.0.0 (29.06.2020)

     

    Since 7 days seams to be my only game which is using EasyAntiCheat - "Game 17" has to be 7 days ;)

     


  7. no, not only the save file - also wipe out your old maps and generate a new one with A19 stable :)

     

    Best is to follow the steps in the red banner above - and don't forget to delete your mods folder (if there are still a18 mods in).

    also noticed the inventory is broken on motorcycles when it is selected holding "e" and navigating and letting go of click on inventory hover. (happened on Windows client) all other functions work with the motorcycle expanded menu. 

     

    While on the Windows machine, the "r" key started to work on looted items and all containers (last night). I don't know how I could recreate this. The Other Windows 10 users at the time are still experiencing this bug.

    The CreaturePack you are using is outdated - there is a newer version available. Update them, maybe that will help :)

     

    Update: I don't know from which mod zombiePhantasmRAD is coming - but if your crashes always happen after loading it (or other non vanilla zombies), I would think it is the cause of your problems...

  12. @faatal: you've mentioned in the dev stream with lathan a performance problem on your side (huge frame drop, where may be a terrain texture wasn't loaded). I too suffer from this from time to time.

     

    I've testet the new console commands and both times when it happends

    Gfx st forceload

    solved the issue for me 😀

     

    Just fyi (in case you need feedback).

     

    Update: happend right now again - and this time forceload wasn't helping. Maybe it was just luck last time... :(

    This is a fresh generated game (b169) on PREGEN02.

     

    Maybe the PREGENs are outdated after the latest fixes? It may help, if I'll generate a new RWG word, I think.


  14. I haven't generated RWG worlds myself since A17 or A18. I'm using the Pregen0x worlds or generate my own with Nitrogen only. So I don't know if there are maybe still bugs in.... dunno. Btw. the Pregens are RWG worlds too ;)

    Maybe your 4k map is just broken (?)

     

    Whatever, most important is you're able to play the game again :)

    You should not run out of memory, not if your virtual memory is configured as intended. Is the size managed by windows (should be) or manually?

    Maybe do a screenshot of the settings dialog and someone could see something strange here.

     

    Also the full logs of an unmodded run may help here.

    I have 16GB ram and my swap file is at about 20GB in size while playing 7dtd - without any mods. Have that in mind please.

    I don't think that 10GB free space on your swapping partition will be enough, free more space, you'll need it.

    I never had an eye on that in the past - before they talked about in the stream I didn't even know about there was a limit of 5, I just felt random for me ;)
