I'm not sure I want the end game. If I completed it once I think I would lose interest in it.

theres a difference between stressfull and bull@%$#. by that logic, if by day 70 all the zombies began to jump on air, you would be fine for it? 😛
consistency is key. small bases get quickly attacked via there front door. but late game? when your base is expansive? well, you need to keep things in mind. such as, only have 1 layer thick walls. or else they tunnel up to you because of course. also make sure there is a door or else a good portion of the horde wont actuly bother to pathfind to it.
No, you misunderstand me. I am for a stressful experience playing the game (I mean, what's the point if you can just wall yourself off and watch your funnel defences do the work while you sip tea and nibble on crumpets), but not for bull@%$# zombies (no demolishers, nor flying Krakens)... i.e. I would want a multitude of plain, braindead undead, that you can't predict and who would overwhelm you by sheer numbers.
But hey, that's just me.

Ahhh yes, Gracie. That mountain of meat... plus all the minions along the way. Guess that constitutes as vegan hell

i can respect such a idea, but it also gets stressfull when your 5 block wide wall is tunneled through effortlessly and they make a stairwell up to you. one of my best defences was ruined because i made the walls too thick. and because the zombies didnt want to travel round the massive wall.
im fine with new specials being added to mix up the gameplay. the demolisher is, as far as im concerned, a great way to mix up the gameplay. im excited for when the popler joins there ranks.
My point exactly. It's supposed to be stressful, it's a game that wants you dead by undead 🙂

I kinda like 'em dumb. Yes, it's nice that you can exploit their "smartness" and funnel them to your liking, but I miss the tension of not knowing where they'll strike and what aspect of your defences needs to be addressed. So, for me the perfect thing would be sheer dumb numbers.

Allegedly before the holidays this year. That sounds fun.

I found the recipe for it and yeah... no.Directions
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir flour into melted butter until smooth and slowly stream milk into the mixture while whisking continually.
- Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir tuna into the milk mixture; season with salt and pepper.
- Ladle tuna mixture over toasted bread to serve.
I'd rather just take that can of tuna, drain some oil out of it, squirt some lemon juice into it and eat it like that

To each his own, I guess. That's the beauty of this game, everyone can play it as he likes.

I feel that they are steam powered or something, but without the pressure valve. That, in turn, makes them aggressive and makes their head pop when introduced to an outside force.

Speed run is not quite for me in this game... I like to enjoy the journey.

The Demolisher debate reminds me of the LBD one with two sides deeply entrenched on their side of the argument 🙂
I, personally, find him immersive braking, but on the other hand I understand his existence, because what's the other way to dig out players from their ultra-mega super bases? It seems to me that the whole concept has turned into a catch 22 situation, or a circular one... better defences - stronger zombies - better defences yet - more stronger zombies - etc.

I'd REALLY like to try the popcorn made out of that corn 🙂

Dude, I played it on an i3 2120 with 8GB RAM and a GTX 750 Ti with some graphical tweaks and it was fine-ish. Now, with an i5 4570, 8 GB RAM and a GTX 1650 it simply flies... and it set me back some 300-350 Euros

Love the newer graphics in recent and, I guess, future alphas, but just detest the dungeon style POI's. They seem so repetitive and immersion killing to me. Not to mention the "Oh look, a zombie sized cupboard. I wonder what's in it?" and, also, a pet peeve of mine the "smart" zombies that you can guide by their decaying little hands to their inevitable demise in a swirling hail of blades and lead.
Alpha I'd like would be A16 with new graphics.
