IF I GET disconnected while occupying my vehical when i rejoin game the vehical is GONE.. i might find it i might not find it.. but it is NOT where yo8u disconnected.. it's probably at the last vheical manager save location. and this is happening to me on local dedicated server (the same computer i'm playing the game on.. with 127.0.0.1 loopback to connect.. so it is not the isp.. it is not the router its the frigging game... if you disconnect while riding a vehical you will have a misplaced vehical.. you may find it.. (not where you dropped) or you many not find it.. and only god know where it is.. one time my gyro was on a roof.. and onlyt another player with another gyro saw it.. it is frustrating.. PIMPS ON DISCONNECT either load the vehcal in the inventory.. or return it to bedroll.. or locate it where the person dropped. their spawn point on drop. one of the biggest SUCK things about this game.. surely you can fix it right?

so what happened to the dedicated server in steam library.. i just started new server and it says wrong version.. go to update it in steam library and the dedicated server is GONE so i go to 7d2d site and i cannot find server download link>? What is going on?

Thanks for the reply.. i did notice that iron pickaxe (green) had 3 sockets? guess they capped the lower tiers but not the higher ones.

LAST 2 SERVERS i was on blue stone ax only had 2 sockets for modifiers. for years it was 3 for blue.. 4 for only pink/purple .. 2 for green yellow and 1 for tan and orange. so is this just server mods coincidence or is the game changed anyone know what's going on here please?

when selecting a server a toggle to put the server in yoru favorite list.. so toggle the star.. its in your favorite list.. untoggle it it is no longer in your favorite list. instead of having to root thru your hard drive edit files to remove favorites that turned out to be lemons.. not one server in my favorite list.. is a favorite.. and there is no in game way to fix that.. that's nuts pimps.. Please consider making your game user friendly!

comeon guys.. quality means giving the customer what they want.. not being able to delete crap servers from your favorite list is NOT user friendly.

i didnt even have arrow slits.. they could see me inside windowless base.. and shot thru walls with vomit.. damaging all my interior boxes.. if cops can shoot your boxes thru walls this game is broken..

like the walls werent even there when it came to cops.. the puke went thru walls like they werent there hitting me and my chests inside.. is this a bug or server setting?

1. who can pick up your robotic turret? ally? party? anyone? 2. why did my robotic turrets disappear when i logged off and then back on 20 min later? (4 turrets next to each other) 3. my base has regular turrets covering the robotic turrets so they were NOT destroyed by zeds. 4. this mulit player public server where time seems never to stop. (unless server empty?) robotic turrets seem to be broken.. you CANNOT leave them unattended or they might disappear. (they were ok till i logged out then back on) (no player killing turrets in claim) no compass indication i don't think all 4 fell thru the floor and disappeared. they were all 4 on steel platform at ground level.

ok game worked fine after i delted drones from saves (not in steam folder but in c drive under users/ [yourusername]/ appdata / roaming.. 7d2d find the save folder for your game world (server) after i deleted the >2Mb drones file.. the game worked fine.. but then it has crashed .. so i go back and check the saves folder cus i havent used a drone..and this time it was decorations that was over 2Mb so delete that and the game works fine again.. so the problem seems to be any file in your saves that is over 2 Mb.. what ever is writing there is writing excess junk or not doing clean up.. and making excessive file sizes. so far (renaming) decorations hasnt shown effect in game.. deleting drones didnt seem to effect much either cept i lost my drone. but this problem seems to be more than just one file its prob every file that is written to in saves.

i got same error 2x .. once on my own dedicated.. and once on someone elses.. you have to play a long time to get the error.. the fix is delete the drone files in the save folder under user/username/apps .. path to server / deleting the drone bak and main files in the saves solved the problem.. evidently those files got packed full of junk and exceeded file size causing the error. also in this version.. DO NOT USE A DRONE or you'll eventually crash YOUR game on whatever server your playing on. don't even pick one up anyway deleting the drone files in server fixed it for my dedicated.. i cant find the other server admin to ask him to delete his so i can go back to that game. pimps said they know about this and have fixed it and it will be released in next patch.

i have afk horde night base prob survive 4 or 5 hords at least.. without human intervention.. but i dont spam it on youtube.. what the pimps dont know. they cant patch.

how about infected.. infecting others..

check on steam store page for 7d2d your hardware/software meets or exceeds all requirements make sure your game is up to date on steam.. latest version . start 7d2d,, click on join game, . make sure you can search for servers (skip past the new server filter screen) select a server with no password and try to join it.. what happens? keep in mind your first game join you will have to either create a map/world or download one.. this can take several minutes or tens of minutes .. depending on map size

another problem is if you play 100 hours .. (or too long) you get a stack overflow .. memory cannot be expanded error and your done with that game.. (might be drone related so do not use drones in 20 games till it patched) some file gets too big and htat ends your game play (disables E key, or any of its mappings, forever)

i was told that they are aware of memory stream is not expandable, and have delt with it.. and it will be fixed in future update.

thank god.. thank you too chikorina for your response. 9,500 hours in this game and counting and i'm suffering withdrawal symptoms. this is one of the best games ever made and the best in it's class by far.. and i want to restore my good review of it on steam. I can rest assured i will be able to play the game in the future at some point.. one thing i am currious about is what was the cause of this error? can my game(s) be saved? what was the previous report and findings? i hope all that is not "classified" if it is in the public forums how would i search for it?

(paraphrasing) also in log on ly one entery stack overflow.. cause.. well i did it on my own home dedicated server.. it happened after hundreds of hours of play also there was something being shut off (showed on console) the only symptom of this in game play other than consol poening with error messgage.. is that forever after my E key ( or its current binding) no longer functions.. i can run around shoot do everything i want except interact with E key.. (cannot open things cannot get on vheicals etc) so i tried realoading game i tried rebooting computer.. i tried verifying files and folders for game and nothing helps.. if i exit and rejoin.. everyting works for 2 seconds.. then the error pops up again and once again a disabled E key. so i left my hundreds of hours game.. and joined a public server.. where after hundreds of hours.. it popped up again (i have about 9,500 hours playing this game.. and this only happened twice (or 100% of the games i have played in this latest experimental patch. something in your experiment broke the game) the exact same error.. afer close to the same amount of time.. its to me like a file got too big.. and so the memory stream cannot ber expanded limit was reached.. shuttind down whatever listens to the E key making the game unplayable. I havent associated this error with drone most suspect thing to me is sheer play time and thus file size.. of whatever files keep track of game progress. again a reload of game.. the error is not existant.. till i do something in game then within 2 seconds bam the error.. also there is a slight roll back on reload. solution is not to play latest experimental.. and pray.. what ever it is in the latest experimental gets fixed.. or all future versions of the game will chrash about 200 hours in.. destroying all your hard work ... i have a ticket in on the same error .. but cant find it.. they probably not happy with info provided.

I CHANGED FRAME SHAPE TO A FRAME.. BUT NOW I CANNOT CHANGE IT BACK TO FRAME SHAPES.. SO I CANT PICK IT UP.. IHAVE TO DESTROY THE BLOCK .. SO HOW DO I GET MY FRAME SHAPES BACK.. THE ONES YOU CAN PICK UP AND MOVE PLEASE? I CANT FIND IT IN THE SHAPE MENU.
