  1. 1 to 2 weeks from now is actually alot faster then I expected. I thought you were saving the next update for when alpha 17 comes out. This is pretty exciting. Just wondering, do you plan on eventually adding custom zombies or fauna to the game at some point as a mean to add some late game dificulty? I know some mods do that, but I would much rather see those added in UL since its by far my favourite mod. Reason being that the late game becomes really boring for me. Even when playing on the highest dificulty setting in a ironman run, the game still becomes stale at the end game. perhaps adding some stronger mobs could make things more interesting along the line.

  3. The trello board is looking nice for the next update. Especially the part of scraping the squematics for skill points. very much like Valmod wich is really apreciated. You think it would be possible to add an extra cobbelstone recipe so that we can make them at the carpenters table or cement mixer? Basicly the same as the wood boards, where you can make them in your backpack, or in the workbench. Reason being that it takes alot of cobbelstone to make any proper builds with it, but making alot of it in the backpack takes alot of time, wich causes alot of lag when interacting with other crafting tables.

I did later on melt one gold nugget to see if it would work, but it still says it has 0 out of the 10 required for the ingot. however the forge bank continues to register the newly added gold. Guess I will just have to keep on trying. Thanks for the reply. Good to know that this isnt the first time to happen.
  5. I think I somehow broke my forge?? https://imgur.com/GSseK0m I have been melting down gold pocket watches, as well as other gold stuff like the raw nugets and medals and stuff. Was able to make gold ingots in the past with no problem. But now for no reason im uncapable of making gold ingots in that forge for some reason. Its my rare metal forge, and i havent tried making gold ingots on any other forge. Titanium and silver still work on it. Just notice how on the forge bank it says it has 29 gold units, but on the ingot recipe it says I have 0 out of the 10 required to make it. Still loving the mod though. Keep up the good work.
  6. Durability is exactly the same between both the iron and titanium auger. Its 600 durability at level 600. I tested the durability drop aswell, and it takes 3 hits for both to drop their durability by one. So durability is the same. You could argue that the titanium auger will dig out more blocks since it can take out blocks with fewer hits, but outside of trench diging or bunker building there isnt much better use for it when compared to the iron auger. And I was unfair when I said the iron auger gave excatly the same amount of resources per hit as the titanium one. When braking boulders for this test, I noticed the titanium auger gives 49 raw iron per hit, while the iron auger gives around 43 and 42. However the titanium auger takes out a boulder in 2 hits giving a total of 98 raw iron. In the meanwhile, the iron auger takes 3 hits to take out a boulder, giving a total of 126 raw iron per boulder. Its a very big diference especially on the long run. I just believe the resource count should be better balanced with the strenght of these tools.
  7. So excited for that. Anyways, The augers are a bit messed up. I have maxed out my miner69r and mining tools, and found myself playing around with the titanium auger. The thing one hits deep ground stone and all, making mine creation and bunker building alot faster. However the resource count isnt worth it with the titanium auger. I tested both the iron auger and the titanium one, and found that both give the exact same amount of resources per hit. However, since the titanium version one hits the grand majority of blocks, while the iron takes 2 hits, the iron one ends up giving twice the amount of resources per block then the titanium one. keep in mind that I tested with both level 600. Sooo, the titanium auger digs faster and has double the fuel capacity when compared to the iron auger. However the iron auger will provide more resources per hit, making it ideal for desert mining, or pretty much any kind of mining involved around resource grinding. Durability seems to be the same for all types of augers, being maxed out at 600. I guess what Im saying is that all augers should have a resource count tied with their strength. The titanium pickaxe seems to have the same issue, although I havent tested it out nearly as much as the augers. The titanium fireaxe doesnt count towards the Im a lumberjack challenge, that requires killing x amount of lumberjacks with a fireaxe. Thats all for now.
  8. Hey Subquake. Wanted to congratulate you on this awesome mod you have built. After spending over 300 hours on valmod i decided to try this out for a change, and now I dont think I want to play any other mod in this game. The variation in loot, complex recipes and the HuD are all amazing. I would like to make a few questions / sugestions if you dont mind. -Is there any use for the cooper ingots or is their purpose only to be smelted when looted. They can be crafted but no recipe can be done with it. Perhaps having the ability to make better bullet tips with them by combining the lead tips with the cooper to make a type of ammo with better benefits then the ones we have. -Do you plan to add new crops in the future? I noticed some new fruits and vegetables have been added. Would be nice to be able to grow them ourselves. Maybe even add grapes so that we can produce our own wine. And maybe even allow the crafting of vodka by using potatos. -Why do the storage items that you buy from traders have the lower storage space instead of the larger space when the player crafts them. For example, I bought a ammunition box from a trader, but when i placed it in my base, it had a very small storage capacity, compared to the one i would have gotten by crafting it myself. on that note, player crafted beverage coolers have a small 4x4 storage space. Im pretty sure it should have much more but was forgoten. And I think thats it. really looking forward for the progress of this mod. I saw you plan to add some new weapons for beoth melle and ranged combat with their very own 3D models. That is what Im really interested in. Always wanted to have a sword in this game. And an M4 makes sense too. Keep up the good work.
