Hey all!
I'm Xane Tempest and I've only made mods that add/alter existing recipes in-game so far (See Xane's Sensical Crafting Mod on Nexus) but I want to try and make something like a mobile base.
Now, I have no idea how to begin this, but the first thing I'm trying to manage is to get a working workbench INSIDE a vehicle.
The eventual mission is to have some Mad Max looking behemoth that you can go tanking around the random world in.
The current shopping list is: Ten or so storage containers, a single workbench, forge, cement mixer and chemistry station, pseudo bedroll, built in blade-traps and turrets (subject to severe alteration) and some kind of power generation via rooftop solar panels and internal battery.
I want this thing to have a lot of health, but also be a total nightmare to construct. I mean needing to make parts that make more parts that eventually make the parts that make the vehicle to FINALLY be put in-world...
TL;DR
Basically, I am trying to find the current in-game infrastructure that handles vehicles and the interface side of workbenches so I can make a 'portable workbench' as the proof of concept.
