  1. Solar panel and battery issue. The bug zapper and sonic repellent have an issue when power switches from solar to battery. It causes them to stop actually working, until you turn them back on.
  2. Mine is a private game, but I found the cause. I got tired of concrete blocks not hardening unless I exited the game and reloaded. Happened when I had a lot of wet blocks drying. So I set the dry time to 2, very fast. I noticed that when I approach a city too fast, it shows concrete blocks in the building and such. In an unchanged game, they go away after a second. In my game, that was long enough to harden into a block that stayed. And Starvation is demanding, making longer delays in things. Long enough.
  3. Have you been in the radiation zone? And that answer does help. If others aren't getting this, it's a me thing. I can't figure out why, but ...
  4. Issue. I asked once and either missed or didn't get a response. I'm going into areas, and suddenly the map messes up and I can't move without nocliping, and building are filled with wet concrete blocks. I first saw this in a rad zone, and in my new game, outside the rad zone. Is this a me issue, or is this something others are getting.
  5. I went into the radiation zone today. All the building were filled with wet concrete, couldn't move, and crashed easily. I'm guessing the radiation zone isn't set up for A16 yet?
  6. They created a new fridge, with a fridge bottom that must be connected to power, with a top for food. 50w power demand.
  7. Can we get a bed that doesn't turn into a spawn point? During a scavaging mission, I might camp out. Starvation requires bed rest. But if you lay down a sleeping bag, it becomes a spawn point. That then deprives your base of it's anti-zed zone, so they spawn inside the base.
  8. I'm getting the flu an awful lot, without getting cold or wet. Is this intended, or is flu buggy? It makes no sense.
  9. Oh, the issue is vanilla. I saw it all along during A16. It isn't a Starvation mod issue. It's just that without rain, no collected water. I've been playing with the biome percentages, and have had some success with increasing the low end rain odds. It's like the game never tries to conjure up a storm. Here is what I did <biome name="forest" biomemapcolor="#008D00"> <weather> <Temperature min="-35" max="5" prob="1" /> <Fog min="0" max="0" prob=".9" /> <Fog min="100" max="100" prob=".1" /> <CloudThickness min="0" max="0" prob=".2" /> <CloudThickness min="10" max="70" prob=".2" /> <CloudThickness min="100" max="100" prob=".6" /> Changed this <Precipitation min="0" max="100" prob=".30" /> <Precipitation min="50" max="100" prob=".70" /> <Wind min="10" max="20" prob="0.9" /> <Wind min="20" max="100" prob="0.1" />
  10. Water. I need water. I've long noted, hoping it would be fixed by now, that it often just doesn't rain. Forest and pine forest biomes. Is there any fix for this, to make it rain more often? I know about the command console, but I'd like to get it to rain once in a while without cheating it in. And without rain, rain catchers do nothing.
  11. I thought I posted this, but seems not. I am trying to use the rain collectors. I have them in a 9 square hole, as I did in A15. But now they don't seem to collect water. Is this broken, or has how rain collectors work changed? I noticed they have a new texture.
  12. Rain collectors I'm noticing rain collectors aren't working in this update. Or at least, mine aren't getting water. I have them centered in a 9 square hole. I've used them before in A16. I've noticed they look different now. Are they used differently?
